PSF-Prayer Bear and quick update

PhotoStory Friday

Hosted by Cecily and MamaGeek

This is not your typical PSF, but really, this must be shared!

Here are the instructions that came with Prayer Bear. Izzy received him for her first birthday.

Innocent enough, right?

Wait, what is that on the top left? Really, what the heck is that? Um, maybe Prayer Bear is a girl? Here's a close up, just in case you didn't catch it.

These directions made their way around to all of the guests. Yes, they were adults and yes, we are mature...but, why, oh, why would they put that picture in the directions? Please tell me it seems a little inappropriate to you, too!

How could that picture go with this sweet little Prayer Bear?

Also, please make sure to see the post below, or click here. I need your questions for my 200th post for Monday!! Please do play!! It will be fun!

I had my 36 week check up today. You can read the full story here, but my platelets took a little dip to 105,000 and they need to stay over 100,000. So, please keep those prayers coming.

I’m glad its not just me because I saw it immediately!!! Holy crumbs…that is um…well…you know.

Is it bad that I find it amusing? A little?

That was the FIRST thing I saw when I clicked on your page! What a naughty little prayer bear. ;)

All. be. damn.

(me. smiling.)

Obviously some perverted guy made those instructions. OBVIOUSLY. :)

Yikes…I don’t think we’ll be buying that bear!!

I’m an adult, though I’m not sure I’m mature, but I’m certainly glad that my reaction was shared by others, otherwise I’d feel like a pervert.
That’s funny, you should send it to Jay Leno.

I saw the picture before I read the story and totally saw that. Makes you wonder how that made it past any kind of editing…or maybe it was edited to be that way.

Uh, yeah…I totally saw that right away too. That’s just wrong.

I’ll be thinking good thoughts about multiplying platelets for you!

EW! That reminds me of a certain “Everybody Loves Raymond” episode. Do you know the one?

Anyway, yeah, that’s pretty bad.

Yea, that really seems like not the best picture to include with prayer bear! Too funny!

I’m a bit disturbed at that picture. Surely there was another way to describe those instructions?

Ok so I’m guessing it’s where the battery pack thingy goes. I mean all stuffed animals, dolls that talk have something like that. But I can see where you might have to give it a second glance.

Ok Questions…

What is your favorite thing to do?

favorite color?

favorite food?

favorite flavor of icecream?

What names to do have picked out for the new baby?

How did you come up with Izzy’s name?

Favorite smell?

favorite flower?

Oh and I need to know the color of your living room? Don’t ask just do.

Ok hope that’s enough. I got more though if you need them. Love ya bunches. Thanks for always checking on me.

I knew instantly what you were referring to. Thats a little too graphic for a prayer bear. Maybe she is praying for something related to her ya ya. I dunno, a sign from the prayer bear’s maker. Its kinda funny thats how you turn her on, in an immature laughing teenager kinda way!!

Thought the same thing when I saw it. Good things our kids DON’T know, right?

Funny how quickly all the adults pick up on it ~ it’s the first thing that caught my eye, too!

And why, oh why, do we find these things so stinkin’ amusing?!

Wow..that was the first thing I saw when I opened the page. I was getting worried what this post was going to be about…little did I know it would be for a prayer bear! Gees!
(I’m glad to know I wasnt the only dirty minded one that saw it! lol)
I’ll think of some questions and get back to you ASAP!
