I told Aunt Emily that Izzy can play in her room when she wakes up. Aunt Emily thought there was a time stipulation. And, she let her play a little too long. She pulled off all the books on her shelf. She threw away several pairs of socks, tights and some cotton balls. Then, she found the mother load. The Vaseline.
Apparently, Vaseline? It makes great shampoo!! Isabelle put it all over her hair. And Vaseline? Is not water soluble, and does not wash out.
As soon as Aunt Emily found Isabelle, Isabelle told her "clean up." She knew.
After two shampooings and ample time to dry, she looked like a grease monkey and her hair felt horrible.
Since it was still nasty, I got online to try to figure out how to remove the goo. It was recommeded that we use cornstarch and then shampoo.
Cornstarch, Vaseline and hair=hilarious combination. Have a look for yourself. We're sure she looks pretty crazy!
And, I should mention that the last time Aunt Emily watched Isabelle, Izzy got into the A&D; ointment and spread it all over the room.
And, it's not like she went to bed with these things. They were in the drawer of the changing table. She has to stand on her tippy-toes and blindly reach into it. But she succeeded.
Too bad Aunt Emily is free or we might have to fire her!

Oh no. She looks like a little Einstein.
(This must be a common thing for little ones to do. I have a friend with twins and they played the same fun Vaseline game.)

Oh, man. I think Lula at Lulaville was posting about a vaseline incident last week or so. lol You poor, poor mommies. What a nightmare!

ok…so you basically made me look like a horrible aunt and sitter. i tried to do my best and sorry for the mess, again. you should put the pic and story of her making cookies at 9 am on there…then maybe i will get some fans. miss you guys so much!
I totally missed this one…that is hillarious! I am glad that Carter hasn't gotten into any trouble with his Aunts!

I clicked over thinking that aunt Emily got the vaseline in HER hair.
Now I know how to remove it.
