She makes the most adorable baby and toddler items. By hand. And, personalizes them. The pricing is the most reasonable I've seen. Especially for the personalization.
She made this capelet for Isabelle. It is so soft and warm. And, it has the perfect touch of girly flair.
Dana's daughter is modeling it here.
Did I mention it's personalized? Isabelle has very few things that are personalized. The personalization is just the right size. Perfect for finding it at daycare.
When I opened the box Dana sent, I had an extra surprise. A beautiful monogrammed burp cloth for Natalie. This would be the perfect baby shower gift. You can't beat the price, either!
I asked Dana, the owner of Cuddlebug Babies to tell us a little about herself.
Why don't you start by introducing yourself to the readers! I'm a full time working mother of 2. I live in Mesa, AZ but I'm originally from Iowa.
Tell us about your boutique and how you got started selling online. I have always liked making things and I love being creative and putting different fabrics together. I especially love making things for babies and kids because I get to use the softest, most cuddly materials.
What is the biggest challenge you face with being a mom, working and now starting up your own business? The biggest challenge for me is trying to find a balance. I'm still working on it. My kids tend to want to "help" me, so a lot of times I can't work on things with them around. I also have the mommy guilt for letting them watch too much tv when I'm trying to work. The good thing is that my husband and I work the same hours so we are always home together and he's available to help out the majority of the time.
What advice would you give our readers in juggling multiple responsibilities such as work, school, and home? Definitely remember that some days you just have to forget about all the things on your to-do-list and just relax. I work 6 days a week and I usually spend my Sunday working on sewing projects so I really don't get any kind of break. I've been working on splitting things into smaller sections, so I don't have to finish one entire project in a sitting. It drives me crazy to leave things unfinished for any length of time.
What inspires you to create? People. I don't know many people who make things, and everyone loves the blankets I make. I'm not good at buying gifts at all and I never think I've put enough thought into it, so when I put my time into making something I feel like it's from my heart.
What is your most popular product/ favorite product you make? My baby blankets. You don't see too many like them out there. I've been getting better with practice and I love picking fabrics. I used to make them with all flannel, and then this fall I found the minky dots. Now I am making most blankets with some form of minky fabric on the back and they are so soft I wish I had one. My kids and nieces/nephews all love the ones I gave them for Christmas and they have become their loveys. I also personalized theirs because they can take them to daycare and not worry about losing them.

She has some lovely things! I would love to see a sort of boyish bag…maybe a sort of thing that could carry cars and trucks!
I like the pink minky lovey! So cute! And it looks so soft.
I subscribe to your blog.
WOW she has some great things!!! I really like the bag she made her sister and would buy one of those in a minute of she decides to sell them. I am really a fan of the burp clothes. My daughter hates it when I use a cloth diaper in public, she thinks it is way to tacky and would love these!!
