My glasses were over three years and two pregnancies past due for replacement.
I was thrilled that EyeBuyDirect gave me the opportunity to try their online services as well as a new pair of glasses.
Their glasses start off at $7.95 including lenses. And there are so many frame choices. It took me quite a while to settle on the ones I thought I might like.

One very unique thing about EyeBuyDirect is that you can use their EyeTry service. You upload a picture of yourself and virtually put the glasses on to see how they will look. This was very revealing and I like that I didn’t have to go into a store where they were going to tell me that the cheaper glasses didn’t look good. It made it very easy for me to pick out glasses that ended up looking good.
Also, I had a question about the measurements of the frames, so I clicked on the “live help” and almost immediately somebody answered my question for me.
All you need is a copy of your prescription and a picture of yourself and you are good to go.
These are the glasses I ordered. In addition to the single lenses included, you also get a case and a lens cloth. Now, I am blind, so I upgraded to the UltraThin lenses. They are very thin and light weight. My glasses were still only $114 with the anti-reflective coating and UV protection.
Here’s me wearing them. I think they are pretty stylish.
An added bonus? They arrived very quickly right in my mailbox. No ordering them at the store, then driving back to the store later to pick them up. Fabulous.
Also, they sell fashion glasses, reading glasses and even sunglasses.
My improvements: I would like to see a packing slip in with the glasses listing the prescription that is on the lenses. Just as a verification. Also, while the site has a ton of search functions, I wish there were more searches available for dimensions of the glasses.
