Piggy Paint-Giveaway and Discount**CLOSED

June 23, 2009 in Contest,discount,giveaway,review,Uncategorized

Believe it or not, I've never painted Isabelle's fingernails or toenails. I guess it never dawned on me (bad mommy, I know). I didn't want her to be high maintenance.

When I heard about Piggy Paint, I knew this was the product to use for Izzy's first mani/pedi.

Piggy Paint is NOT flammable and is a water-based polish that is specially formulated of natural ingredients. Finally, a kid-friendly polish without the accompanying drawbacks of traditional polishes. It is free of formaldehyde, toluene, phthalates, biphenyl A, ethyl acetate and acetone... and made in the USA!

Serious Tested:
Piggy Paint sent us Tea Party for Two, a bright blue color. It was so fun and looked adorable on Izzy's piggies and fingernails. They also have a polish remover which is non-toxic and odorless. It worked really well at removing polish (especially the polish that got on her toes!)

Of course, Izzy wanted mommy's toes painted, too.

The directions say to apply two thin coats of paint and allow them to dry completely; followed by a drying using a hair dryer to set the polish.

We did this on all of our toes and her hands. Izzy's chipped off a lot faster than mine did. However, she was pretty wiggly during the drying process. Plus I previously had polish on my toes. So before we started, I had to use polish remover on my toes. I think that also gave the polish a good clean surface to stick to.

We love our Piggy Paintand can't wait to try out more fun colors now that we have a safe alternative to normal fingernail polish.
