Post-Its Go Green-Review and Giveaway

THIS POST MAY CONTAIN AFFILIATE LINKS. I MAY EARN FROM QUALIFYING PURCHASES.

Post-its have so many uses. I use them at work to write notes to myself or locker combinations for kids.

At home, I left Mr. Serious a little love note…and a cookie.
So, I was thrilled when Post-it contacted me to try out their newest products. In an effort to be more environmentally sound, Post-its are now made from recycled paper. And, you know what? I couldn’t tell. You know how sometimes recycled paper has that grainy texture and feeling? These recycled Post-its totally do not have that feeling. And, the pen was so smooth on the paper.

Not only do they have the traditional ones, but they have super sticky ones. They will stick to practically anything.

Here’s a little info from Post-it

  1. Awesome! I really don’t want to enter the contest, but…

When I got married my bride’s maids wore yellow dresses that my coworkers decided were “Post-It Note Yellow”. Sad thing is they were right!

  2. I love using Post It Notes at work too. Usually, when I’m in the middle of working on something that I can’t put off, and I think of something else I need to do, then I write it on post it notes and stick them on my desk.

I also write important notes and stick them to my phone because I know that I’ll eventually look there.

Thanks, Krystyn. Being an organization freak, I.love.post.its.

  6. …and your Eden Fantasy’s giveaway.

Can you tell that I have a love affair with Post Its?

  7. I use Post-Its every.single.day. I have them at work and at home. They are great to start and list with and put in my planner to grab on my way into the store. I just counted and I have 13 pads of all shapes, sizes and patterns in my desk drawer.

  8. I LOVE post it notes!! 🙂 I use them at work all the time, I like the bright colored ones the best. I leave myself things to do the next day at work on my computer with them and take messages for coworkers.

  9. and I entered your poster print give away!

  10. Dear Krystyn,
I used to use post-it-notes all the time when I was teaching..I used different colored ones for the different classes I taught with note for “need to grade”, “need to post in grade book” “need to put in computer” , “return to students” ect.
Now I just use them to write DH love notes or for reminders of things I need to do. They really help when my senile brain isn’t working well. In fact I use them more all the time. The closer I get to 65 the more I really need this give-away.

Have a good day. Love, Grammy

  11. I tried to grab your button but I must be doing something wrong because I couldn’t make it work.

I had the same trouble last time I tried. ???

  12. uhm yum. cookies.

on your next post it note – remind yourself to send me the recipe 🙂

  13. Before my hubby left for this last deployment, I bought him a couple of books to take with him and I wrote tons of little lovey-dovey-ooshy-gooshy notes on Post-Its and stuck them in various places of his books.

I figured the stickiness would keep the notes from falling out of the books. 🙂

I’m such a good wife! lol

  14. when i looked at this picture i did not see a cookie 😛

  15. My sons and I use post-its to draw pictures to tell a story so they can take the pictures up and down as the story changes.

  22. Fun!

I put Post Its in my son's lunch. I just scribble out a quick note to let him know I love him. I think my son wishes I'd stop that though. He's probably at an age where it's embarrassing but I don't care…

  23. I *heart* post-its! And so cool that they have gone green!
There are so many uses, where to begin? I like to use the shaped ones for teaching sometimes…..

  24. I love Post-It notes! I use them for everything: whether it's a short jot about what files I'm using, notes to myself about reports I read, or when we get the wrong mail and it needs to go back to the post office. (Happens a lot!)

  25. I leave post it notes all the time in my kids boxes for lunch! Recycled is even better!

  26. I use Post-It notes as bookmarks for my students. They stay in place, and they don't waste class time going to the library to get a new one (and play).

  27. I added a link to this contest from my blog to yours…even though we have the same followers!

  28. I'm not sure how fun it is, but I use them to mark up my books. I hate writing in my books, so I'll just toss a post-it in there with whatever my thoughts are.

    Thanks for the great giveaway

  30. Neat! Thanks. I'm really keen on more environmentally friendly options, so great to hear they're using recycled paper.

What we could do with them? I think my two year old would probably claim them. She loves note pads and coloured paper. We sit and 'write' on them and put them up all over the place to display her artwork. Currently she only has a white sticky note pad!~

  31. Most importantly – I want that cookie!

Fun with post-its?! I know I am strange, but I'm crazy for office supplies, especially little notebooks. So I use post-its to write stuff and stick them in my little notebooks so I don't 'mess up' my notebook.(By using it) I know, I know… it's stranger than strange. We all have our quirks, right? I also stick post-it notes with little lovies in ipod cases, inside laptop computers, in calendar pages, in the shower, on the front door so we remember stuff as we're leaving, in the cabinets with a little recipe, etc.

  32. I'm a big fan of post-it notes but the only fun thing I can think of is leaving notes for the kids in odd places like in their clothes drawers, in a book they're reading, etc.
