After what I would like to call a stressful day of no listening, misbehaving and no napping (for the second day in a row), Isabelle and I "had a little talk."
After our talk, we worked on repeating what she was going to do in order to make sure it sunk in:
Me: "Repeat after me: 'I am going to be a good girl.'"
Izzy: "I am going to be a good girl."
Me: "I will listen to mommy and daddy."
Izzy: "I will listen to mommy and daddy."
And a couple more...then
Me: "I will do what mommy and daddy tell me to do."
Izzy: "I will tell mommy and daddy what to do."
Hmmmm....not quite what I was hoping for.
And, if you doubt her sassiness..take a look!

I'm glad I'm not the only one dealing with this issue. Lately, K will act like she is listening then start laughing in ur face while you are scolding her. Great times isn't it. Hang in there, it has to get better.
I am telling you I believe everyone who says that the 3's are worse than the 2's. SO TRUE!
oh dear! I'm just starting to get these little attitudes from Mia. Thanks for the heads up!
Hang in there girl..it will get a little worse before it gets better…BUT, it does get better! LOL
Oh the things kids say!

Isn't she a little young to be sassy? Or is it just me being forgetful in my old age. I know that sassiness comes in abundance later on (as I get my fair share from my 7 and 11 yr olds ;o)
I've heard that about those fiery redheads.
Sassy sally indeed! Gotta love kids.
I love Izzy! Sass or not I just wanna squeeze her.

She's thrown down the gauntlet, hasn't she….? good luck!

Haha! Izzy and Caroline would be best friends!!
And where does she get the sassyness from? LOL!
This is the part where I tell you it all gets better with age.
Um, sorry… I can' tell you that.
But I will wish you luck, lots of luck.
You are gonna need it.
Would it help to tell you that she sure is cute when she is sassy?
Yeah…you already knew that!
Hmmm….we've definitely got more than enough of that sort of thing here!
However, I actually like the no nap days….because it means that he's going to fall asleep easy at night!
Oh my…I'm sorry but I'm laughing just thinking forward about 12 years. Yeehah!
Ah…the sassy-ness. I know it well. Poor Mommy.

She could try out for "Annie" you know… She was pretty sassy too! ; )
Oh my, that's too funny! I can totally see her saying that! Look at that mischievous face!
First, I totally agree with the comment three's can be worse than two's, they were here. At four, we deal with sassiness pretty much daily. It's like they totally forget from day to day the little talks afterward.
