Mr. Serious and I started The 30 Day Shred this week.
The first two days, we were so sore, it was hard to hold out munchkin or even walk. By day three, we were feeling better.
It has become our nightly routine. We get together every night and do our Shred.
Wednesday, day 5, he had Bible Study, so we had to “get our Shred on” before a certain someone went to bed.
So, she joined us.
She was a really trooper.
It was so cute to watch her, too. This was the only chance I had to take a picture…you really don’t get a break during the workout.
She did her version of jumping jacks and jump rope and was even trying to take our weights from us (we finally convinced her two plastic animals were good weights).
Even the sit-ups weren’t a challenge for her. It was almost like she’s done them before.
She did the first half before she got bored and did a puzzle.
It was a fun way for us to show her the importance of exercising and taking care of yourself. And, we also showed her that it’s important that Mommy and Daddy take the time to exercise together, too.

Haha, too cute!! Good for you for starting good habits early!
GOOD JOB!! And I think it's great that hubby is doing it with you. Mine sits on the couch and watches if I haven't done it by the end of the day.
I've got 4 more days to go until my 30 is over. I can't believe I've made it this far. Good luck!!

Always interesting to see how they learn, by watching.

Is it a bad thing when upon looking out our window one day, my daughter says "mommy, why are those people running?" LOL! I had to actually explain what exercise was and why people do it…..yikes. Thankfully Spring is coming here and we can get out an be less lazy!
Way to do your shred! Can't wait to hear the results!
Jack and Melody like doing the shred with me too. Jumping Jacks are Jack's favorite and Melody likes Jumping Melodies.
So cute!
I need to mention this to Ryan. Maybe he will start working out with me. It can be like a mini date night every night.
