Mommy and Me Monday-The 5th Edition

Thank you for joining me on this new endeavor, Mommy and Me Monday.  I can’t wait to see you all out from behind the camera and in front of the lens.  It will be good for us all to be added to the documentation of our lives (as well as the lives of our children).  Read a description of Mommy and Me Monday for more information.

Saturday afternoon, I was finally feeling myself.  This past week was really hard and it took a toll on my body.  But, Saturday, I was back.

After the girls had a good nap, we went out for free Italian Ices.  Yum.  We all had our own, and the girls loved it.

Then, we went to run around at a local memorial and park: A big, open, grassy field (and we later discovered a little play train area, too).

As we were leaving, I handed Mr. Serious the camera and said “I need to get a picture for this week. I don’t have one.”

I scooped up the girls and told them to smile.  Neither one of them looked at the camera, and while there were a couple where I was looking good, I think this one really captured the moment.

They both were touching each other and swatting at each other.  And, of course, thought they were hilarious.  And, I turned to laugh at Natalie, and Mr. Serious snapped one more time.  And, viola, this is it.
