I know I’ve mentioned it before, but our girls LOVE music.  They love to dance and sing.

I was contacted by the owner of Rock, Rhythm & Rhyme’s Color Songs CD to have a listen to their newest CD.  It featured ten songs that are written and recorded just for preschoolers.  Each song has a different style, too; there is a blue-sy one, a rap-y one, a country one, a rock more and a couple others.

Not only are the kids learning about all the different objects that are a certain color, but they won’t even realize they are learning to spell all of their colors words, too.

Serious Tested: This CD has not left my car’s CD player in the past two weeks.  The girls really have been enjoying it.  Everyday we get in the car, my preschooler says “mommy, can we please have the color music.?”  And, my youngest loves to dance and move her head side to side while it’s on.  It cracks me up.
Even cooler?  The preschooler can spell all of the colors in the CD.  She needs a little prompting with the tune of the song, but it’s really cool that she is spelling.

I admit, I was a little worried about the CD.  After all, I knew I would be listening to it, too, and sometimes kid music is too much for me.  But this one is cute, and catchy and not over the top at all.

You can even listen to the beginnings of some of the songs on their site and see what they are like.
