Mommy and Me Monday-The 9th Edition

Saturday was my birthday. A woman never tells her age, but let’s just say this is the last year I can say I will be twenty-something.
It was a great day. We had friends and their kiddos over in the morning for brunch, and then in the evening, we had a sitter and went to a surprise baby shower.
Before we were out the door, I reminded Mr. Serious that I didn’t have a single picture of me on my birthday, let alone with my girls. Fortunately, he took a few. This was the best one. Unfortunately, I’ve passed on my gift of blinking right when the picture is taken (so I deleted quite a few).
The twenties have been pretty good to me so far (engagement, college graduation, marriage, graduate school graduation, birth of #1 and birth of #2)…I wonder what this last year has in store?

Do you ever look at yourself and think that you look like a grown up? Not OLD…just an adult. As in…I don't FEEL like a grown up I still feel like some teenager.
I hope I am explaining this right (and I am a year or so older than you so I am certainly not calling you old) but you look like a grown up in that picture. I see a woman with her beautiful kids who has it all together. It is beautiful!
