Much like her last art project, Natalie was determined to put just as much paint on herself (her face included) as she was her paper.
And, also like last time, she's quite proud of herself.
Her sister, however, took a much more modest approach, insisting on wearing her apron, and using a paint brush for finger paint.
Thankfully, it was nice hot day outside, and it was washable paint. So, once again, we ran out to the back patio and had an impromptu hose washing.
And, well, Isabelle just enjoyed playing in the water unexpectedly.

I’m pretty sure that if I ever finger painted like that I would be in trouble. I’m jealous.
Hi Krystyn- HA! Love the finger painting… you’re brave. I’m terrified of letting my kids TOUCH paint in my house. I probably need to get over that, eh?

Looks like fun, though I hope it washed off the table, too.
We just finished painting too. This time we used waterpaints. They are not so messy. Aiyana has been making Sun Catchers all day. I bought a $2.00 kit and it has provided hours of entertainment. It is just too hot to do anything outside.
soooo cracks me up!! i love how different the two of them are!!
Now that is just too funny how opposite they are!
hi artist!
I was like that too, always wanting to keep my hands clean haha. Great activity for them
An impromptu hose washing sounds invigorating!
I too would require a brush for finger painting (I hate having dirty hands), though I have to admire Natalie’s full bodied commitment to her art.
Haha – Izzy has the right idea – it’s what I would have done

So cute. At least it looks like they both stayed in their seats. If it was my house, the paint would have been all over the walls and the floor. I like the green walls in your kitchen. Very nice.

OMG how cute is Izzy with her apron!! That cracks me up what different approaches they took!
haha! Love both girls artistic approaches! …Natalie with her “jump right in, unabandoned, really getting into her painting” technique… and Isabelle’s more “careful, refined, genteel” method
)
And how perfect to get right outside and get all the painting evidence cleaned off with some fun time in the sun and under a hose
)
) If you don’t…just know that I really appreciate you saying hi!)
Blessings & Aloha!
