Picking up artwork at school is always fun.
You go to the folder, grab the artwork, keep the youngest from destroying everything stapled onto the wall and try to get both kids out of the room in one piece and without crying (them) or yelling (you). What? That never happens to you?
I don't really get a chance to check out the work until I get home.
I started flipping through the stack of green sheets.
"Oh, good honey. Look at you practicing your letters. I see "A"s and "D"s and "I"s and "O"s and "P"s Great job!"
Flipping to the next half-sheet.
"Oh, it looks like you stamped an "X" in the middle and then, I see some fingerprints. Nice job!"
"Sweetheart. What is this masterpiece you have drawn? I can't figure it out and need you to explain it to me."
"Mommy, that's an "I" and two "O"s."
Whew. So glad she cleared that one up!

OMG, I LOVE IT!!!!! It has me laughing so hard! You really have to keep that one to pull out and display at her wedding!!!!
LOL!!!! That is too funny and sooooo cute! Not exactly the kind of art work I would display around the house when you have company though LOL!!! I can’t wait until my baby is old enough to bring me art work!

When chuckles was little she came home with art one day, with a line up of people…. and she had made sure to draw a belly-button each one!
