Frito-Lay | Review and Giveaway

Chips alone aren't the healthiest of snacks.  However, if you combine them in moderation with a tasty, filling dip, you won't consume as many chips while still satisfying that salty-tooth (please tell me I'm not the only one that has it?).

One salsa idea is:

• ¼ cup fresh cilantro, finely chopped
• 3 tbsp lime juice
• 1 ½ tbsp chipotle chilies chopped
• 1 ½ tsp ground cumin
• 1 jar Tostitos® Salsa
• 1 can of corn
• 1 can of black bean
• 1 chopped avocado
• 1 chopped tomato
• 1 bag Tostitos® Scoops! Tortilla Chips

Mix together all ingredients (except chips). Chill before serving with Tostitos tortilla chips. Garnish as desired.

Did you know that Tostitos Scoops! tortilla chips, have 8 grams of whole grains in every one ounce serving?  So, you can use that as your excuse to get whole grains while enjoying some tasty chips and veggies in the dip.

Serious Tested: Personally, I don't think I will ever turn down chips.  Like I said, I have a salty thing and pretty much enjoy them all.  Most of the time, we use tortilla chips for dipping already!  The Garden Salsa Sun Chips were surprisingly tasty and they come in a unique 100% compostable bag (hopefully, they start doing all of them like this).
