Do you have a room in your house that needs some easy to install shades?  Maybe your kids room is too bright?

Check out Redi Shade's Simple Fit custom shades.  Each shade is custom made, cordless and installs in seconds.  No tools required.  No kidding.  All you have to do is push a button to lock them in place and they are done.  Watch this demo video.  It seriously took me longer to take the shades out of the box to install them.

They were also very easy to measure for.  The site provided clear directions on the measurements needed to order the Simple Fit custom shades, and it did it without problem.

This is the side of the shade with the "trigger" or button you have to push.

And this is Mr. Serious positioning it and pushing the button.  And, seriously, that's it!

And, then, he was done.  And, our cat checked it out.  And just so you can see how much light comes in before and after, there you go.  The one on the right is to show you how the sides of the blinds look when they are pulled down.

They are available in custom widths 19" - 64" in 1/8" increment and are all 72" Length.  I was worried about the length being bulky as our window wasn't nearly that long.  However, because of the fabric and the way they are made, you really can't tell there is an additional 36" of fabric beneath the opening.  The come in both Snow, Cream and cream colors and both colors are available in light filtering and black-out.  The Simple Fit Custom Shades install only inside a window frame. Select a window that includes a frame with a minimum depth of 2 inches.

Our take:
They were so easy to install it was crazy.  We chose the black-shades in the snow color.  They really do their job, and it's amazing what a difference it was from the previous Roman shade we had hanging in the room.  Now, the room is almost completely dark.  The only place light gets in is right in the sides.  These would be perfect for those early risers that see the sun and bounce out of bed.

I really don't have any complaints about the functionality of the shades.  I only which they came in another design besides the honeycomb look.

Bottom Line:
I would order these for other rooms in my house where I needed shades.  The installation is a plus and the ease at which they can be raised and lowered is really nice.
