As a teacher, I'm writing a lot. And, I've been using pens all of my life (well, my writing life), so I've got a writer's callus that's pretty much permanent. Like they stated, it does take an adjustment and you feel a little funny writing with them, but you can allow your hand to relax…just lots of retraining involved.
The Twist 'n Writes were made with children in mind. It was a little big for Isabelle to use. I think it was also awkward for her as she is left-handed, so she holds a pencil at a different angle.
