Jumping in the bed is strictly forbidden.
We never let the girls do it.
And, yet, they still insist on doing it.
Repeatedly.
So today, I savored it. I didn’t say no. I said jump.
And, they did. And they tackled. And built a fort. And had fun. And acted silly.
Just like kids.
In that moment? Mommy wasn’t rule mommy. Mommy was fun mommy.
(One day, I will be that mommy that can also take low light pictures that aren’t blurry and fuzzy…until then, I think we all get the point!)

Love this! Looks like they had an absolute blast! We must be on the same wave – I posted about a little savoring and fort/tent building too for PSF.
Yay for letting go a little…right?
…wavelength – I meant to say.
Once in a while, you just have to let the rules go out the window (or maybe just perch on the sill for a while…)
I love that pink dress, and the Dr.Seuss-looking tights.
If you figure out how to take good low light pictures, please share….
Every once and a while…that’s all I can manage.
Ummm…I have a feeling you will beat me to figuring out the low light pictures.
