Mommy and Me Monday | The 81st Labor Day Edition

September 5, 2011 in mommy and me

It’s time again for Mommy and Me Monday. Pop out from behind that camera and capture yourself in action with your kids.  Check out the inaugural Mommy and Me Monday for more information.

Here it is Monday, and a holiday, and I'm a little ill-prepared (but typing with two hands...hallelujah!)

I decided that since today is Labor Day, and that this is Mommy and Me Monday, I'd post a picture very, very shortly after my first labor and my first mommy and me picture.

28 hours later and I finally had my munchkin in my arms.  And, now, she'll be FIVE next month.

(Silly daylight savings time...the camera was an hour behind.  She was actually born on 10-14 at 12:29am, so the camera hasn't caught up).

So, break the rules today if you don't have a new one, but get that Mommy and Me picture posted.

Mommy and Me Monday at Really, Are You Serious?

**There really is only one requirement here, a picture of you and your baby or babies; your children, your “baby” (ie significant other) or even your fur babies.  If your picture doesn’t feature you (meaning you must be in the picture), I will have to delete your link.  It’s not fair to the others that follow the rules.**

I try to make sure and visit all of you and leave some comment love.  Please spread the love!  And, I never mind the comments, either:)

They are so very precious aren’t they? You ready to (almost) do it again?

It’s scary how fast time goes! I have a five year old and i don’t know how it could have happened so fast!

It just doesn’t make sense, does it?

OK – I stole your “Labor Day” idea! And I have to wonder – who makes those hospital baby blankets? They are the same all over the country = every baby I know has been wrapped in that same blanket!

It’s like married life is in slow motion, then you have kids and you have no idea how fast it can go.

Really, she is turning 5 next month? There is less than a month difference with my older daughter :)
Did she go to Kindergarten already? For some reason I remember reading that. My daughter is only in pre-k

Yes, she turns 5 next month.

Because she was in daycare, and had an October birthday, she was moved up to Sr. Preschool right at 3. Which left us with leaving her in the same class for another year (and all of her friends moving up), or putting her in private pre-K last year. So, we put her in private pre-K after making sure she was ready.

This year, she could have done GA Pre-K or private Kindergarten. After talking with the teachers and making some decisions, we decided private K was the best thing for her.

Next year, she’ll do public-K at our local school and be “caught up” with her birthday.

You know what’s terrible…there isn’t a good family shot of the 4 of us in the hospital after Natalie. Whoops.
