Oh, sweet girl. You’ve been so excited about going back to school for weeks now. You’ve been counting down since #1 went back. “When does my new church school start, mommy?” “Two weeks?” “This Monday or next Monday?”
The day finally got here. I let you pick out your outift. You picked the “I {heart} my auntie” shirt that Aunt Emily made for your big sister.
{We sure did waiver about this decision, but I think it’s going to be perfect for you. You asked to say a bedtime prayer tonight and said it without any help or prompting.}
You were a little nervous about the carpool that mommy opted to do for the drop off because I knew you wouldn’t let go of those tears, but you took it in stride and did awesome.
You never cease to amaze us. Happy first day of preschool, sweetheart.

What a cutie! She looks so excited about school. Are you feeling any relief yet at having a quieter home, or is it still too soon?

Definitely relief. Unfortunately, it’s only for 4 hours, and with a 6 month old, I get about an hour-1.5 hours during her nap, so it’s not much.
