I had the privilege of hosting a live blogger event at Babies R Us this weekend to demonstrate and show off the new Graco Click Connect SnugRide 40.

There were quite a few moms (both new and expecting) there to check it out with me and see all of the cool features. Baby S even came along with his mom.

I explained all of the really cool new features of the car seat. They were such good listeners. I love how one dad was actually raising his hand and asking questions!

The Graco SnugRide® Click Connect™ 40 – the first and only newborn to two-year infant car seat that actually grows with your baby from four pounds all the way up to 40 pounds. The car seat is designed for a parent on the go. The infant car seat can be easily removed from the base and used as a carrier when the infant is small, providing portability and convenience so you can easily move your infant in and out of the car without disturbing them.

The American Academy of Pediatrics recently made the recommendation to keep all children in rear-facing car seats until the age of 2. Graco set out to make this product so parents can keep infants rear facing longer while still keeping them comfortable.

That is is a rear-facing seat for infants up to 2 years old! It can be used as a bucket seat and attached to a stroller, but once they get older, you can leave it in the car. When they start to want to sit up more, there are 8 recline positions that can slowly start to get the seat to a more upright position. Not only that, but it also allows for more leg room so that parents aren’t uncomfortable with the idea of their kiddos little legs being squished up. When you rotate it up, there is a super cool kick board that can pop up so those toddlers don’t kick the seat in your car and/or get mud and dirt all over it.

I always feel like right after we have a kid, the next, newest and coolest thing comes out! This seat also has a one-hand adjustable harness on the back. You just squeeze two buttons and adjust the height. No more rethreading the straps. This is especially awesome if you have a super big baby (hello E) and she actually needs to the seat bigger than the smallest adjustment when you bring them home from the hospital!

Of course, there were snacks, too! Chocolate and cookies…and water to keep the mama’s hydrated.

And, of course it was super cool that I had the one and only Fran from the SITS girls there with me to co-host! (Yes, I had on makeup, too!)

Currently, this seat is only available at Babies R Us.

I love that it has 8 recline positions that can gradually move the sigh to a more upright position. And that it allows more leg room than regular seats.

My current one doesn’t recline at all, and it’s a total bummer. Love how versatile that one is.
