Sweets for my sweets | WW

Apparently a sweet tooth is hereditary (or goes back to the caveman days, I can’t decide). Why? Because my mom tells me she used to sneak candy late at night and still enjoys a good sweet. I pretty much can’t turn down candy either. It’s bad. I could eat all things sugary and sweet, and if you combine it with a hint of salty, fireworks, baby.

I think if you combine chocolate with the juicy yumminess of a strawberry, it pretty much becomes healthy food, right? Okay, not really, but it’s a delicious dessert that we can enjoy every once and a while like birthdays.

Because you only turn SIX

and FOUR one time.

And, you might as well enjoy it now (especially when you metabolism and activity level is through the roof!)

Thankfully, they were kind enough to share their mini-cheesecake and chocolate covered strawberries with us. The girls could have devoured all of the strawberries in one setting. No joke. They both had two and tried to go for a third and we cut them off. #1 was nice enough to stop eating long enough to tell me it was good and take a picture. #2 couldn’t stop herself. I can’t blame her. The strawberries are huge, perfectly ripe and juicy and flavorful (my mom has sent them to us several times and they are always perfect). And the cheesecakes? Little cylinders of heaven. We cut them into fourths and three adults each got a piece. Then we saved the last fourth of each for the next night to enjoy again. Droooooolllll….
