It’s time again for Mommy and Me Monday. Pop out from behind that camera and capture yourself in action with your kids.  Check out the inaugural Mommy and Me Monday for more information. Need another reason to participate in Mommy and Me Monday? Read my post about why I blog with words from a friends’ husband.

It was a whirlwind, fun-filled weekend with my sister in town. She told us if she’s having a boy or a girl and the baby’s name….not telling here, though. The girls even got to participate in a video telling grandma and grandpa.

Mommy and Me Monday at the Square

She helped me find a super cute outfit and pair of shoes (which was with drama as are most of our shopping experiences) and I helped her find some candy that she’s been wanting like crazy and can’t get her hands on.

Our intentions were to hit up the Botanical Gardens, but Saturday got away from us. Then Saturday night, we had our first case of the pukes with Miss E, so we decided to stay closer to home and grab some play time at the train and ice cream.

We’re always sad when she has to leave, but always looking forward to the next visit.

Mommy and Me Monday at Really, Are You Serious?
**There really is only one requirement here, a picture of you and your baby or babies; your children, your “baby” (ie significant other) or even your fur babies. If your picture doesn’t feature you (meaning you must be in the picture), I will have to delete your link. It’s not fair to the others that follow the rules.**

  9. You mean I can use this an excuse to get out and hang with friends? Brilliant! PS The picture is beautiful!

  10. Adorable! How do you like the ergo? I am thinking I need a new carrier. I have the moby and the bjorn. Both are so hot though 🙁

    1. I LOVE my Ergo. It goes everywhere with us (I didn’t even bring a stroller on a 14 day trip to Michigan last summer). It can still get hot (because you’ve got a little oven attached to you), but not nearly as hot as a Moby..I never felt like tying that thing on once they got bigger. I can’t compare the hot to a Bjorn as I don’t have one.

There is one that is supposed to be cooler (maybe the “Performance” Ergo), but I haven’t tried it out.

  11. How’s little E doing? I hope she feels better now! The Botanical Gardens looks beautiful right now, but I can only imagine that it will get better once a few more things have time to bloom. Hopping over to your sister’s blog (and the video!) right now 🙂

    1. Much better. It was like a 48 hour bug.

I’m sure we’ll get there in a couple weeks when it warms up again.
