And, now the reception | PSF
The wedding reception was fun (minus the raw chicken..Em, you better get some money back for that). There was so much dancing, most of us were soaked with sweat by the time the reception was over.
Check out the generations and wedding pictures from earlier this week.
After the wedding, I hung out for a bit at the church with my sister and her BFF to get everything cleaned up, her bustle ready, and off to the reception. The rest of the family beat me there and took the opportunity to snap a lot of pictures.
My Aunt Deb, #2, My Aunt Theresa, #1, My cousin Keegan
“Hamming” it up!
The girls hanging out with their aunt and cousin.
She was obsessed with giving him his paci.
The cake (it’s hard to see, but they matched the monogram from the invitations I did).
“Hamming” it up.
The grand entrance (they arrived in a Hummer!)
Awwwww….
A little blurry, but a picture of us.
The music was blaring and the girls were ready to dance and dance and dance. They had a blast.
Dancing with Uncle Zac.
Sisters dancing.
Some Texas A&M tradition. Yeah, I don’t get it, either.
There was a lot of group/line dancing. In fact, we didn’t fit on the dance floor. This picture has a flash snafoo, but it sure seemed like it captured the movement.
I was really concentrating.
I don’t know which dance this was, but #1 was loving the line dancing. She fit right in and danced the whole song.
#1 dancing with grandma and grandpa.
The girls thought it would be fun to try and catch the bouquet. Thank goodness that didn’t happen.
Mom and her sisters cutting a rug.
Joe getting his groove on.
I got one dance in with my cousin…he was less than thrilled.
And, they were off.
I can’t believe it was only last week, and yet, it seems like it all just happened. Such a whirlwind. We made it home Monday night after 14 hours in the car! We survived. But, I’m not sure when that next road trip will happen. I think everybody can come to us for a while!
What a great-looking couple! The girls were beautiful as the perfect little flower girls!
Awww…thanks. On all accounts.
Oh, both couples btw! 🙂
Looks like a blast! 🙂
The wedding was a blast. We sure had fun dacing with the girls. They were the cutest in their flower girl dresses. I am so glad they didn’t make them itchy. There were some great pictures taken.
Theirs didn’t, but mind sure did.
It looks like a great reception! I love it when the kids get involved in the dancing. 🙂 It seems to loosen people up a bit.
Oh, if that’s the case, then they made everybody really loose. They were dancing like crazy.
Looks like y’all had a blast!! The bride looked radiant and so did you and the “aunts”. So glad everyone had a good time!
WAIT. Raw chicken?! For the meal?
Lord, I hope not! That’s horrible.
Other than that, yes, I did look at the pictures and read – looks like a good Texas time! 😉
It wasn’t intentional. We had beef and chicken, and some people had chicken that wasn’t cooked all the way. Not everybody! And, I helped them get a refund, too!
Definitely a Texas good time.
man i wish one of my brothers would hurry up and get married already!! this looks like sooo much fun!! and i am loving em’s curls!! soooo beautiful!!
Seriously..they need to get hitched already.
Looks like a blast! That cake was beautiful!
Would you believe, just like at my wedding, I didn’t eat a piece of it…and each layer was a different flavor?
That looks like such a great celebration! The dancing is so much fun. Glad you all had a good time and congrats again to the happy couple!
