APB and I’m going lazy this time!

THIS POST MAY CONTAIN AFFILIATE LINKS. I MAY EARN FROM QUALIFYING PURCHASES.

I’m putting out an APB on my sweet, loving, hugging, kissing little girl. Seriously, it’s like she turned two overnight (which isn’t until October). She can’t make up her mind, she DOES NOT listen, and she won’t even look at us sometimes. Please, please, tell me this will end soon! Preferably, before her sibling gets here. I am scared what is to come!!!!

I gave you all a preview of our vacation to Florida on Monday…I just posted about it on our family blog. So, you can go and read about it there. I know I’m lazy, but it involves resizing pictures and all that fun (and I’m just not up for it!)

  4. I truly wish I had words of inspiration here, but I believe you may have read once or twice about my problems with our three year old, and how much worse it is now, than when he was three.

Hold on tight. These are somewhat bumpy years. Which will make number 2’s arrival that much more welcome!!

Oh dear. Not to be Debbie Downer or anything, but I really don’t want to give you false hope. Chances are pretty good that your beautiful little girl is just getting going with the attitude makeover. I swear to you that you will all make it out alive though. You’re just going to need a lot of patience, and a lot of unconditional love.

  13. Sorry, they don’t call it the terrible two’s for nothing. But keep in mind: there will be days that she’ll just steal your heart by giving you the biggest kiss ever or by saying ‘I love you’ in a sweet voice. Those days keep you going.

And best of all: all the things you described about her, will probably come back when she becomes a teenager. Ah, kids, gotta love them.

  14. Hi Krystyn! It was fun to guest post over at Elaine’s, I am so glad you enjoyed it.

And I would love to tell you that your daughter will go back to her old ways but as mom to a 7 and 4 year old I don’t think you will like my answer….

When all else fails there is always bribery!

  15. I went and saw all your fun, cute pics!! Looks like a great vacay!

And I will be honest with you. I loved 2, now 3, that was a whole other story!

  16. Love the pics.
BG is about 28 months now and things are hit or miss. Somedays are really good others I am ready to leave her on the front step. She is starting to have more of an opinion about things and she isn’t afraid to voice it.
Good luck, we can all go through this together 🙂

  17. Be scared…RUN!
    I am teasing.
    A little.
    Love the photos!
    Love those toes!

  18. I feel for you, I truly do. Although I suspect my 5 month old may have already hit the terrible twos…If he hasn’t, I’ve got 18 months to learn all I can about how to handle tantrums.

  19. What a fun vacation! And great family pics too. THe summer just always goes way too fast doesn’t it? I’m back to work in about 3 weeks, not looking forward to it, but oh well.

  20. Hmmmm, okay I’ll tell you it won’t last long, but I’m afraid I’d be lying ;). Okay, really it’s not all bad just new challenges as they get older and are able to express themselves better. Like my 6 year old is big into the tattling and my 9 year old is ummmm moody (love those hormones).

  21. You know the terrible two’s?

They start at 16-22 months and last til post puberty!

Just kidding (I promise!) though some days it sure feel true.
