Being Tourists in Our Own Town #atl | Mommy and Me Monday | 133rd ed.

THIS POST MAY CONTAIN AFFILIATE LINKS. I MAY EARN FROM QUALIFYING PURCHASES.

It’s time again for Mommy and Me Monday. Pop out from behind that camera and capture yourself in action with your kids.  Check out the inaugural Mommy and Me Monday for more information.

Sometimes it’s fun to be a tourist in your own town. This weekend, we did that.

First stop, the Atlanta Zoo. It was pretty funny to hear the girls tell us how “disgusting it smells”. Apparently they didn’t realize that the animals and their poop stink. E and me just hung out for most of our trip. She really is quite happy in the Ergo.

#2 only wanted to see the kangaroos, but we got to see most of the animals.

mommy and me monday with really are you serious at the zoo

After our trip to the zoo, we went all out and headed to The Varsity. It’s definitely an Atlanta landmark and “must do.” It’s definitely NOT healthy or nutritious, but everybody has to go there. Apparently, everybody from the Clemson v Auburn and Braves games were also there to check it out. We waited over 20 minutes in line to order and get our food.

Today we did #atlanta. First @zooatl then @varsitydrivein for the first family trip.

They all enjoyed it (E even snacked on some tomato from my sandwich). It was a nice day out and about enjoying our town.

What did you do this weekend? What’s your favorite thing to do in your town?

Mommy and Me Monday at Really, Are You Serious?

**There really is only one requirement here, a picture of you and your baby or babies; your children, your “baby” (ie significant other) or even your fur babies.  If your picture doesn’t feature you (meaning you must be in the picture), I will have to delete your link.  It’s not fair to the others that follow the rules.**

I try to make sure and visit all of you and leave some comment love.  Please spread the love!  And, I never mind the comments, either:)

Zoo tickets provided. We paid for our food at The Varsity:)
