Bend it like Beckham* (sort of!)
Soccer season finally started. No rain. Beautiful weather.
She was pensive at first. Just standing. No moving at all, but once she was assigned to playing goalie? She was all over it.
Just look at that action! She was meant to kick. She even caught a ball and successfully defended the Panther’s goal.
{Hallelujah, because I was starting to become a yelling, crazy soccer mom because she really was just standing.there. Hopefully, this was just game 1 jitters and they will practice the game playing part a little more at the next practice!}
Another super cute sight? Number 2 constantly wanting to know where her sister was…while sitting in her "soccer chair."
Even though it was a pretty sucky day personally my cute, adorable, fun and silly girls sure made up for my own ick!
*So, I’m pretty sure the Bend it Like Beckham thing is really shooting the ball into the goal, but this is pretty much the only soccer reference I know.
I’m linking up here. Go and visit their Wordful and Wordless Wednesdays.
so cute! It was always hard for me to find my own kid on the field to watch, so I can image for little sis!
Surprisingly, she found her! But, there were only 6 kids per team playing at a time.
Loving the “soccer chair”!! I need to get one of those for K so that she can sit in style while watching her brothers play! Izzy looks like a natural. 🙂
I think my mom actually bought it for Iz at Tar-jay.
Very cute!
Love #2 watching #1 playing. Very sweet 🙂
Their love for each other is so awesome.
And you caught the moment!! Whenever I have my camera at Isaac’s games I never seem to be looking in the right direction when his moments happen. I am a lame soccer-mom-photographer.
I highly doubt that you are a lame soccer-mom-photographer!
And, she had lots of the same moment…so, I got lucky.
Look at that kick!
Our kiddos’ cuteness is a great cure for the ick.
Yes, they sure are.
I love the first picture!! Nice shot.
Thanks..she had lots of chances to kick in…so I happened to get a good one.
What a great kick! She looks like she is definitely ready to defend that goal!
Thanks! She was definitely happier being goalie.
This is seriously so cute! Love her looking on from the sidelines!
They love each other sooo much!
Awwww. she looks amazing. I especially love that you get your kids to engage in outdoor activities. Hope your day is better today 🙂
They just love being outside.
But all soccer credit has to go to the hubby. I just signed her up (because he was out of town!)
Sorry your day was sucky, but the kids are cute!
Thanks…on both accounts.
Wow, I think that kick is pretty impressive. (She must get that from her mom!)
The impressive part she gets from me!
The ability to kick while being impressive definitely comes from her daddy.
I have no kicking/hitting abilities when it comes to making contact with a ball and me or a bat!
Look at that kick! Great picture of your budding soccer star! And loving the adorable “soccer chair” Soccer Sister 🙂
I’m equally impressed with her kicking.
And, pretty partial to the “adorable” one!
oh my gosh look at that kick!! way to go iz!!
She’s looking mighty impressive out there! This is going to be a fun season for all of you!
Now how precious is that? She looks so tall here. I bet she was born to be a Beckham, I mean, a soccer player…
She really is quite tall! She’s a head taller than some friends in her class (which are older than her by 6 months).
Very cute! Love her kicking form.
Awe that is so cute! I could n’t get my two into soccer and I guess I am glad because I would have been called a crazy soccer mom (lol) It is such great exercise and I am sure she will be the star of her team in no time 🙂
I’m pretty sure (despite my best efforts) I’m going to be a crazy soccer mom, too!
