It’s time again for Mommy and Me Monday. Pop out from behind that camera and capture yourself in action with your kids.  Check out the inaugural Mommy and Me Monday for more information.

This morning, the girls had a lesson about the Wall at Jericho and how the people knocked it down.  So, they wanted to build some walls and see if they could stomp hard enough to knock them down.

Turns out, stomping wasn’t quite enough (well, at least 1-2 girls), but kicking and shoving the wall, worked just fine.

And, I was just honored that they asked for help with their walls.

*And, #1 starts Kindergarten tomorrow. Hold me. How did this happen so fast?

  12. Wow, they looked so engaged with playing blocks…

I’ve a question, do you think it’s better for a child to go straight to “kindergarten” without finishing “head start”?

    1. I’m not sure what Head Start is? Here we have pre-K. I think it’s good to do pre-K, but not mandatory. Just gives them a little more to start with, they learn to write and they learn social skills that are hard to teach at home (waiting in line, your turn, being quiet when friends are talking), etc.

Also, here, they have to be 5 (by Sept 1) to start Kindergarten…so she’s in private Kindergarten and will do public Kindergarten next year.
