Burrito Style | Mommy and Me Monday | 323rd ed
It’s Mr. Serious. I’m guest posting for my lovely wife Krystyn, as she kept the kids all weekend so I could go on a Men’s Retreat with some great men from our church. I’m rejuvenated, and let’s just say that she is not rejuvenated… Who can blame her? She was chasing down these precious burrito blessings all weekend.
Last week, the kids thought it was hilarious to roll themselves up in blankets, and it was! Yes, in case you were wondering, that is my face on the blanket on the right. To be fair, there is a whole family picture on that blanket, but it just so happens my big ol’ head is the only one showing in this picture. I guess that is one way to get in the picture while you’re taking it. Who needs selfie sticks? The iPhone camera actually recognized my “blanket head” as a face and put a square on it. Technology, right?
I try not to be the Dad who shows people kid pictures all the time, but I’ve shown this one to everyone: friends, co-workers, the preacher and even the cashier at Aldi. Well, now it is being shown to the world. May these beautiful faces of pure joy light up your day.

It is a GREAT picture! And it reminds me of swaddling my kids when they were babies. I wonder if they would let me do that when they get home from school this afternoon. 😉
