I seriously can’t believe that school starts next Monday! My big girl is going to kindergarten. Like the real deal. Riding the bus and staying all day and riding home. I’m a little emotional about it. Wasn’t it just yesterday we started the summer with a bang?
School supplies have been purchased and we meet her teacher Thursday (feel free to send wine and margaritas, k, thanks?). She’s ready. Me? Not so much. (Don’t get me wrong, I’m ready for her to have a little time out of the house…but the whole school thing? Ahhhh!!)
So, I figured I’d better get a couple things on the books to end the “summer” with a bang! This past week, we met up with a group of moms at Atlantic Station that I socialize with online (and have met many of the moms, but never got all of our kids together). It was fun. The girls played with all of the other kids (and well with each other, too!). Then, we all headed over to a pop-up restaurant (the food trucks rent out space for a couple weeks at a time). It looks like I’ve got my kids in the bar…we actually had tacos and these yummy fries that had sesame seeds and chili on them).
Then, Sunday #1 wanted a picture with her and #3 on the front camera. I asked if I was to be in it…and next thing I knew #2 showed up, and voila, me and all of the girls! Poor E seems to get squished a lot, but sure loves her sisters.
One more week girls and our days change drastically.
**There really is only one requirement here, a picture of you and your baby or babies; your children, your “baby” (ie significant other) or even your fur babies. If your picture doesn’t feature you (meaning you must be in the picture), I will have to delete your link. It’s not fair to the others that follow the rules.**

It really feels like it does..and now, I sit waiting for the bus home!
Wow, so early to go back to school. We always went back after Labor day. I heard that my daughter will be going back 8-29. She’s starting Kindergarten too. Only 2 & 1/2 hrs. She is doing the afternoon. How many hrs will your daughter be going for?
It’s a full day here. 7:40-2:20!
That second picture is the perfect metaphor for how the girls interact. 2 crazies with a little munchkin squished in the middle. With those sisters, E will be ready for anything !
