Seriously? How in the heck did I miss my blogiversary? Again?
Life seems to be running past me.
I started my blog on February 3, 2005! FIVE years ago. I can’t believe it.
Thanks to all of my blog-land friends for supporting me and leaving me comments in my little, teeny-tiny, itsy-bitsy part of the internet.
So, here’s to you, blog. I’ll be drinking a glass of wine in honor of you! And, maybe, one day, dear blog, you will get me a present.
Patiently waiting,

My wonderful, sweet, darling husband had Bible Study at our house last night. And, they were talking about me. And, Mr. Serious was teasing me about my blog. Thinking it was funny that I typed the letters “IRL,” used Rachel’s word tonguegasmic, and had a blogoversary.
But, really, he’s just jealous, right? Jealous of me having all of my lovely friends out there? And, he just wishes that he could say good morning/good afternoon to so many people? Right? I think of many of the people that I “know” from my blog as friends and if we lived near each other, we would meet up frequently. I mean, we know each others kids, jobs, hobbies, etc.
So that got me thinking. What do your spouses/significant others/parents thing about your blog/blogging? Do they encourage you? Do they read your blog?

2005…the year of the birth my blog. Have you read my first post?
Not many people were blogging then. At least that I know of. Blogger was hard to use. Photos were hosted on external sites. There were no widgets. If you wanted to add a link to your sidebar, you had to get your hands dirty in the html code. Those were the days.
In February 2005 I was:
-a graduate student on track to get my PhD in chemistry.
-teaching aerobics at the student health center 3 days a week, and other places 3-4 other days a week.
-living in an apartment with my hubby.
-trying to figure out what I was going to be when I grew up.
-still a newlywed.
-in pretty good shape!
I think those are the important things.
So, today is officially my blogoversary. No, my blog didn’t buy me any flowers, or send a card….but here’s where you come in.
I know I don’t have anything crazy like 1000 hits a day or anything like that, but there are quite a few of you that stop by. So, today, on my 4th blogoversary, will you leave me a little comment love? Pretty please? Come out of the woodwork and say hi. I would love to know who you are:) What if I got like 200 comments? That would be unheard of, right (wink, wink).

That’s right. February is all about me. Well, really, it’s all about you!
I told you last week, that my blogoversary is February 3, 2005! Can you believe it? 4 years of “blogging hard” (as my hubby likes to say). We’ll reminisce more this week.
I took some time off, but then I came back in full swing. And, it’s been fun.
And, I now have some fabulous friends. Some of whom I’ve met (and know), and many more I wish I could meet.
So, to celebrate friends. I’ve got some great giveaways lined up.
My IRL friend Sherry donated a wonderful gift, but before I tell you about that, I want to tell you about her. She is a wonderful woman. She goes to my church, and is a SAHM to a fabulous little man.
She has also has company called Easy Edges Studio. It has grown enormously in the three years that I have known her. She has some fabulous stuff. And, she gets fabulous reviews (100% if you are curious). Everything is stellar quality and very reasonably priced.
She has headbands,
Kids crayon bags,
Onsies, burp rags,
Purses, totes and more. If I were rich (not that anything is expensive…I’ve got to budget, people), I would own a lot of Easy Edges creations. Miss Natalie has a fabulous little onesie and matching burp rag. We always get compliments.
In addition, she has a personal blog, too. Here she talks about her family and also sells some adorable taggie/ ribbon blankets. You should check her out.
Sherry donated a fabulous tote for my blogoversary giveaway. Look how adorable it is. You will love it!

Never in my wildest dreams, did I imagine that these two girls could love each other so much. It was instant, immediate, and forever all at the same time.
Look that their faces. I’m pretty sure it says it all. I hope they always feel this way about each other.
Isabelle has to kiss Natalie good night every night. She asks for Natalie first thing every morning. She wants to help out with her, she wants to hold her. Last night, Isabelle shared her bed while Daddy read and sang songs. And, she wanted Natalie to lay down with her all night.
And, Natalie just smiles at Isabelle. I’m pretty sure she thinks Isabelle is the best thing ever. Better than mommy and better than daddy!
I hope that they always remember how they feel for each other right now. Because, having a sister myself, I know that you don’t always feel this way about each other. You don’t always want to share. You don’t always want to hug and kiss. You don’t always want to read together.
But, in the end, you always love each other and you are there for them!!

And, now get excited. I’ve got a blogoversary coming up. My very
first post was on February 3 of 2005. Yep, I’m cool like that. I’ve been blogging hard for FOUR years (well, I did have a brief hiatus when nobody was really blogging and blogger was really un-user-friendly)!
So, in honor of that, I’m working on some giveaways. I’ve got a couple, but if you know of anybody else that might want to donate something, please let me know. I’m not afraid to beg ask politely.
