The Cat in the Hat Knows a lot about that is a brand new series and it stars Martin Short as the voice of Cat. The episodes we viewed were in the DVD Wings in Things! In it, the Cat along with a little boy and a little girl visit a bee hive, some ants and a bird house. Of course, in typical Cat in the Hat fashion, they do some quite silly things while there.
The theme song is cute and catchy and you might even find yourself singing along.
The girls both adored the DVD. The preschooler asks to watch it everyday after school (which we don’t oblige to). We also noticed that the series is now being shown on our local PBS channel.

Our girls are big on their music, and considering our commutes to and from work/school every week day, we get a lot of it in during the week.
Our newest CD we enjoy is Monkey Monkey Music’s What Are The Odds with Meredith LeVande.
It has a youthful-pop music feel to it, with lyrics that are fun for both girls (almost 4 and 2). You can listen to sample lyrics on their site, too. In addition to silly songs like “Who’s a Knockin’” there are also educational songs like “What Are The Odds” which include counting by odds and things that are that number (like one hand, three sides to a triangle) and more.

Halloween is right around the corner and I bet it’s time you start thinking about costumes for your kids.
Ariel has always been the favorite princess around here. So, I was excited for us to get to try out one of Costume Supercenter’s Disney Costumes. We have a ton of costumes aka "princess clothes" but nothing Ariel, until now!
We picked the Girls Disney Prestige Ariel Costume in a small (which says it will fit sizes 4-6X). She is around a 5T, and it fits quite well. We were also pleasantly surprised with the length. So many times, they are way too short, but she can actually grow and this will still fit her! The dress includes glittered character art, a fishtail, character cameo and headband.
They also sell an additional wig, shoes, tiara and wand that can be purchased
It was easy for her to put on and seemed to be comfortable, too, as she was later seen lounging on the couch in it.

Grasshoppers sells a wide array of comfortable, women’s shoes from active to casual and even sandals. Many of them have the Purefit Comfort system for even more wearability.
I chose the Westwinds in black. I received a lot of compliments when I wore them with a cute and casual dress, too.
I ordered a medium width. Looking at them, them seemed very narrow, but next time, I think I would order a small width as they slipped off of the backs of my heels a bit. They have a variety of other shoes that would meet your needs, too.
I received the pair of Grasshoppers shown to provide my honest opinion. No other compensation was received.
