Chapter 1: LILLE Love Letters | Mommy and Me Monday | 263rd ed

THIS POST MAY CONTAIN AFFILIATE LINKS. I MAY EARN FROM QUALIFYING PURCHASES.

I am a LILLEbaby LILLELoveLetters contributor and will be sharing my love letters with a theme each month. This month’s theme is love.

LOVE.

One of the first words I said to all four of my daughters. I LOVE YOU. Everyday I try to show them and tell them how much I love them. From hugs to cooking their favorite dinners (thankfully, they make pretty good choices) to snuggles to books at bedtime.

My littlest two (3 and 1) like to be close to me and sometimes I run out of hands. I can show them I love them by helping read a book or color while the other is snuggled in close in their LILLEbaby Complete Carrier.

And, when they are ready for a switcharoo, it happens.

{An oldie but a goodie…E needed some extra mommy time!}

I love my girls and I love when they want to be close and having them close. I love that my LILLEbaby allows me to have them close and still be hands-free. It doesn’t hurt when it’s cold outside that I also have a little heater attached to me.

{So close to home. Waiting for the shuttle to take us to the car. We had a fun busy weekend with the family!}

I’m so glad that I can share my LILLElove with my sister and my niece, so before we left, we had to capture some LILLElove. The girls however, weren’t so much into looking at the camera as they were checking out the misty rain falling just off the patio.

How do you show your baby love?

Since the button code stopped working many moons ago, I took it out. But, if you are adding your link to my link list, please, as a courtesy, add a link back to my site so people can explain and link up themselves if they’d like. After all, that’s the point of the link up!

It’s time again for Mommy and Me Monday. Pop out from behind that camera and capture yourself in action with your kids. Check out the inaugural Mommy and Me Monday for more information. Need another reason to participate in Mommy and Me Monday? Read my post about why I blog with words from a friends’ husband.

**There really is only one requirement here, a picture of you and your baby or babies; your children, your “baby” (ie significant other) or even your fur babies. If your picture doesn’t feature you (meaning you must be in the picture), I will have to delete your link. It’s not fair to the others that follow the rules.*

  1. OK, Logan is MUCH bigger than her not much younger cousin, and still fits perfectly in the LILLE. She was not a happy girl when I took her out of it after this picture. I like that she likes to be worn…still trying to master the hip carry. It will happen. Until then it’s fun having her imitate me choking.

  2. My middle boy is the snuggled in our house. He still loves to come running in all hours of the night so we can snuggle.

  3. Love the baby carriers. They have become my go-to shower gift for every new baby.

  4. Jill Rogers says:

    Hi, I am looking at SSCs and am interested in the Lillebaby. However, I have a very small frame – about 5’2.5 and 105 pounds when not pregnant. Do you think this carrier will work for me? I’m also considering the Beco Gemini, which I think would fit me well given that it is narrower, but I know wouldn’t be as long-lasting. Thank you!

    1. Hello. I’m not quite as small as you are, but on the smaller side so I can’t completely speak personally. It does definitely depend on your build. But I remember seeing this on their instagram if it helps. http://instagram.com/p/zhweH0v_kD/

      Also if you have a Buy Buy Baby near you, you should be able to try one on there or a lending library.

      If you find the straps are a little too big another option is to cross cross them in the back.

      I haven’t tried any Becos, but they do look very narrow. (I need to get one to compare).

      Please let me know what you decide and if that helps or you have more questions.

  5. I’m a tad partial to lillebaby — wish my kids had enjoyed being in a carrier more! I need to be better about taking photos of the kids AND ME.

  6. Awwww I loved baby wearing my last. I love my ergo and still can’t part with it even though it’s been awhile since we’ve used it.

  7. I wish I would have worn my babies. They know how much I love them because I say AND show it by making their favorite foods, snuggles, etc.

  8. I never liked carriers when I had my kids because they just never seemed to sit right on me (I’m 5’1) but my husband loved using ours!

    1. Such a bummer you never found one you like. I’m had to try a few for sure!

  9. I always struggled with carriers. My daughter often sat in her bouncy in the room I was in, since I had trouble carrying her. She got tons of cuddles & snuggles though

    1. Oh, there are totally a ton of ways to snuggle without wearing:)

  10. Every time I see you, your little one is as cozy as a bug in a rug in her carrier. I can see that this is one to use, gift and talk about!

  11. It took a little bit of time for my youngest to get used to baby wearing. Once she got used to it, we were almost inseparable.

    1. When people see me without a baby in a carrier, they look at me funny and tell me I lost something!

  12. I LOVED being close to my kids. My oldest enjoyed it as well and really liked being close. My younger has been more independent since birth and would never do the baby carrier thing. It made me sad at the time but now that he’s older I’ve realized that I love his independent personality.

  13. I love love love babywearing! I had no idea they had such cute colors my husband has the mesh one and it is his favorite!

  14. I didn’t even think of that, that they would be good warmth when it’s cold 🙂 I didn’t babywear with my son, but I will if I ever have anymore!

  15. Those carriers look so nice! I can tell you love your kids very much from the beautiful pictures. 🙂
