It’s time again for Mommy and Me Monday. Pop out from behind that camera and capture yourself in action with your kids.  Check out the inaugural Mommy and Me Monday for more information. Need another reason to participate in Mommy and Me Monday? Read my post about why I blog with words from a friends’ husband.

Ever since I announced the impending arrival of baby #4, I know you’ve been super curious about the gender. And, we were curious, too. Even though we didn’t find out with the first two, we decided to find out with E. We found out this time, too.

And, true to form, we’ve known for a couple weeks. I’m so mean, right? I guess I wanted to have it be our news for a little while (we didn’t even tell the extended family).

Without further ado… the girls and daddy helped (with only a couple outtakes)…

And, yes we are excited and happy. To be honest, I don’t even know if we would know what to do with a boy.

Here SHE is in all her glory. She’s a wiggle monster, and yet, got a little sleepy during the action. We’ve never seen one of the other kiddos yawn before (I wonder what the purpose is in utero?).

It's a..... yawning baby announcement

Here’s the best profile shot the ultrasound tech was able to get. She has both her hands and her feet by her face. She didn’t stop moving the whole time (and no, I didn’t have a crazy sugary breakfast. She’s a super mover).

Alright, I’ve got no more surprises up my sleeves. Now we just wait until she decides to come. Hopefully in 2013. But now that I say that, she’ll probably hang out until 2014.

Oh, and no, we don’t have a name picked out. We’ve got some ideas, but nothing has quite stuck yet. Throw out your best/favorite 3-syllable names.

Mommy and Me Monday at Really, Are You Serious?

**There really is only one requirement here, a picture of you and your baby or babies; your children, your “baby” (ie significant other) or even your fur babies. If your picture doesn’t feature you (meaning you must be in the picture), I will have to delete your link. It’s not fair to the others that follow the rules.**

I try to make sure and visit all of you and leave some comment love.  Please spread the love!  And, I never mind the comments, either:)

  1. FUN!! Another girl is a great addition (though a boy would have been just as great)!

  2. Awesome! You and your hubs make beautiful girls. Many blessings and good wishes!

  3. Not surprised 😉 That hubby of yours is totally outnumbered (but I bet he loves it!) can’t wait to see what this precious new girl looks like and how three big sisters treat her!

    1. He totally loves it!

I can’t wait to see what she looks like, either.

And, I’m sure two will treat her really well…E..well, she’ll probably be jealous for a while:(

  4. OMG congrats!!!!!! 4 girls, that is so exciting. 🙂 Just out of curiosity, why 5 syllables??

    1. Because I’m sleep deprived and sick! Ugh, I meant 3. I don’t even know if I could come up with a 5-syllable name!

All of the other girls have 3-syllables. I thought we’d stick with the trend:)

      1. Ohhhh, lol. Well I was just trying to think of something to suggest and all I could think of was Alexandria!

As for 3 syllable names, my suggestions are Aurora, Briana, Briella, Caroline, Gabrielle, Emily, Lydia, Melinda, Trinity, and Violet (wait, is that 2 or 3?).

        1. Some of those are/were on our list! I love Lydia, but the hubby won’t budge on it because it rhymes with an STD.

          And, Emily is my sister:)

Vi-o-let..I think it’s three, but I do go back and forth.

          1. Hah, leave it to the husband to notice something like that… My husband found a reason to shoot down 99% of my name picks!

I forgot Adalyn, Carina/Karina, Jennifer, Joanna, Mackenzie, Madelyn, Madison, Melody, Regina, Rhiannon, Savannah, Sienna, Sylvia, and Vivian. Those are from my OTHER name list… Yeah, I have a slight obsession, hahah. Well, good luck choosing a name!

  5. Awesome!!! So…so…excited for you! It’s like the little women.

  6. Congrats! I think you two are meant to grow girls lol. Can’t wait to see if she has red hair!

      1. Well …. Christina is my husband’s ex-wife’s name. So I hate being called Christina. But think it’s a fine name otherwise.

  7. Congratulations! I vote for Abigail! She is going to fit right in with the rest of the “Little Women”. Ooh how about Josephine????

    1. We always joked about Josephine because of grandpa Joe…but I don’t think so….

  8. YAY!!!! 4 girls!!! I can hardly stand the cuteness!!!!! I will think on the name… baby names are my favorite! 😉

  9. That is awesome news!! Congratulations!! The world could use another strong S woman!!

  10. CONGRATS TO ALL OF YOU. !! Best wishes and hugs. When I was expecting my last baby I wanted to name her Emily….but she turned out to be a David. I already had a Melinda, Lynell and an Erin. I also liked Melissa. Hugs

    1. Your suggestions make me smile. Emily is my sister’s name and Melissa is my cousin’s!

  11. Congratulations! Another girl – how wonderful! Girls are the absolute best 🙂 but of course, you know that times three already!

    CONGRATS!!!!! 🙂

    1. Thank you! I know she’ll be just as cute as the other three (and likely spoiled rotten….at least by the older two!)

  14. I’m super excited about baby girl, Zeke. The yawning picture is just too darn cool. It will be so neat to show it to her when she’s older. The girls are going to adore her.

    1. It was so crazy watching it happen. I’d never seen it before.

  15. Congratulations!!! That is so awesome!!! I love ultra sound photos. It gives you a peek into what they are up to in there. Ha ha ha!!

  16. I read this on my phone last night and it said FIVE syllable names. Then this morning on my computer it was 3. 🙂
Now, going with the theme, I’m looking for MINEOK or MINEMK? (as in Mine! Mmk?)
Madeline, Marion, Melinda, Margaret, Olivia, Ophelia. 🙂

    1. I was totally trying to figure out the MINE angle, too. And all I got was MINES (ugh, shudder) and MINED. So, then we just forgot about it because it wasn’t intentional.

And, yes, it should have said 3-syllables. I don’t know how I got 5?? But, three wasn’t intentional, either!

  17. Woohoo! Another girl! You’re already so good at being a “girl mom”…why rock the boat!

  18. Congrats. As a mom of three boys, though I don’t plan to have more, I totally know the feeling of wondering if I’d know how to parent a girl.

    1. It is an interesting feeling, the wondering right? Pretty sure that’s all it’s going to be here!

  19. Yay! Little Women! Congratulations!!

I’m partial to Madeline, but I also like Margaret, Vivienne and Violet.

  20. Congrats on having another girl. I wanted a girl so bad & if I had another 1, I would want another girl. I just love girlie things.

  21. Oh my goodness! Another girl! That would be me! 20 kids.. all girls! Haha! Congrats on the new edition, again! Girls are the best anyways! 😉

  24. so happy for yall… adorable announcement too 🙂
i know the girls have to be thrilled

    1. They are most of the time. Sometimes they say “another girl?” That’s 6 girls (cat’s a girl, too), and only ONE boy (daddy!)

  25. Awww congratulations you guys!
That first picture is so cool, I’ve never seen an ultra sound with the babies mouth wide open like that.

    1. Me either. It was so crazy watching it happen live, too. None of my girls have done that before. We saw her swallowing, too.

  26. Oh my gosh, WOW! FOUR girls, how blessed are you? I love it! Although I pray for your hubby in about 10-12 years – ha ha! Congratulations to you all! So exciting!

    Abigail?? 🙂

    1. Oh, don’t I know it…the hormones are going to be crazy! He’ll be wanting a bigger house for sure!
