It’s time again for Mommy and Me Monday. Pop out from behind that camera and capture yourself in action with your kids.  Check out the inaugural Mommy and Me Monday for more information. Need another reason to participate in Mommy and Me Monday? Birthday weekend! It’s craziness around here. The middle turned 5 (Sunday) and the oldest turned 7 (Monday)! So, be prepared for super late birthday posts because it’s been crazy around here.

Last weekend, we had Aunt Emily and Logan.

This weekend the girls’ great-grandparents came in for the oldest two girls’ birthday party. They always love seeing each other and get a million and one books read to them. And, lots of writing practice.

Mommy and Me Monday + Great Grandma

We had to make sure to get one with Great-Grandpa, too! Yes, very safe to say that there are some strong genes from my mom’s side of the family (these are her parents if you can’t tell!)

Mommy and Me Monday + Great Grandparents

We’ve all enjoyed having them here for the birthday party and all of the weekend activities.

Happy Birthday to my two big girls! Birthday posts and pictures to come.

Mommy and Me Monday at Really, Are You Serious?

**There really is only one requirement here, a picture of you and your baby or babies; your children, your “baby” (ie significant other) or even your fur babies. If your picture doesn’t feature you (meaning you must be in the picture), I will have to delete your link. It’s not fair to the others that follow the rules.**

I try to make sure and visit all of you and leave some comment love.  Please spread the love!  And, I never mind the comments, either:)

  1. Such a blessing that they have great grands to enjoy and spend time with. I never met mine and my own grandparents passed pretty early in my childhood.

Happy Birthday to your two little squeaks!

  2. Aww Happy Birthday to your girls. You’ve a beautiful family. Priceless moments, spending quality time with loved one.

  3. Happy birthday to your girls!! So nice that they’re great-grandparents are in their lives. 🙂 My kids love their Geegee (Great-grandma). My older one loves asking her about when she was a little girl; she can’t believe how different things were back then.

  5. Everyone looks so happy to have a special visit? Are they from out of state?

  6. I am so glad your kiddos still have their great-grandparents! It’s a special bond that only my oldest had for a few years. (My husband’s grandparents are still around, but they live VERY far away and we don’t see them unless we go to them – which is not often enough.)

  7. so glad they were able to come and visit… i know the girls loved it
