How did I get here? MM

THIS POST MAY CONTAIN AFFILIATE LINKS. I MAY EARN FROM QUALIFYING PURCHASES.

I’m sitting in the living room. I’m watching one of my little girls push her truck across the floor and having a conversation with her while the other is happily smiling at me and cooing, just trying to sit up. And, I wonder how did I get here?

I’m amazed, shocked, happy and so blessed.

Maybe I’m getting all sentimental because I have a birthday coming up (it’s Friday if you are wondering). But really, the last five years of my life have changed so much. I’ve graduated from graduate school, I’ve bought a house, I started a job, and I’ve had two kids.

Two beautiful and fabulous kids and a wonderful husband! And I am in disbelief.
It seems like just yesterday I was graduating from high school, and it’s crazy to realize that I have very clear memories of things that happened over 10 years ago.

I know how I got here, really I do. As Mr. Serious likes to say it was all by “God’s grace!” I know that God has blessed me with the life that I have and I am truly thankful for that.

  32. So true friend! I today was just telling my mom about the “road” that we are on with God. How it seems to go so fast and we only see it piece by piece, so sometimes it is hard to see the big picture. Just makes you think and wonder what 5 more years will look like.

But you are right. You are so blessed. It is wonderful!

BTW- Anya totally has the same shirt as Izzy. 🙂
