I need a massage
Massage. Should be covered for pregnant mamas. Seriously!
I have to sleep differently, I walk funny, I get up from chairs funny, and I sit funny. I think I do everything funny right now!
My body is all out of whack, and I think a massage would be the perfect thing to fix it! An hour in a warm, quiet room with relaxing fragrances and sounds
So, it’s got me wondering, of all the tests, blood draws and other requirements of pregnant women why, oh why can I not get a massage using my health insurance? I’m not even thinking 100% coverage. What about just a discount? Come on, PPO get with it.
What do you think, moms. Shouldn’t we at least get a massage or two during our pregnancies? Maybe even a facial, too?
Yeah, I think us mommas will be much better off. And, honestly, the rest of our families will, too!
Hmm…this has me thinking, too…what about a massage for Christmas? I think I’ll add that to my wish list!
Did you do pregnancy massages? Was it heavenly?
*links provided. all thoughts are my own.
I totally think you should. And I’ve never birthed babies.
Close to the end, I even start to hurt for you. Foot rubs, back rubs, full bodies, the whole she-bang.
You might be on to something…
So, are you offering a foot massage? Gotta ask.
You should talk to your doctor about it. My doctor ordered massages once a week my third trimester and turned it in to the insurance company. It’s worth a try.
I think you might be onto something. I might ask about it! Where did you have the massages done?
I only had one or two massages while I was pregnant, but I went to the chiropractor all the time. That was a huge help. And yes, I think BOTH should be covered while pregnant. Great idea! 🙂
This reminded me to ask the chiropractor. Turns out I can get a 30 minute one, and since I’ve met my deductible, I’ll have to only pay 10%. not terrible.
But, I have been going, when I take the time to remember to get myself there, and it does help out a lot.
