I Was A Guest at the Holiday Party

THIS POST MAY CONTAIN AFFILIATE LINKS. I MAY EARN FROM QUALIFYING PURCHASES.

Mr. Serious was invited to a Holiday Party with one of the company’s vendors.  Fortunately, he decided to invite me as his guest.  Really, he didn’t have another option!

It was quite the event.  Hors d’oeuvres and drinks with a walk into the High Museum to see the Dali (the guy that did the melting clock) exhibit and a Christmas show with The Atlanta Symphony.

This seems to be our pretty much standard pose, but we hardly ever get pictures of the two of us together doing grown-up stuff.

So, here we are.  After a grown-up night out, including a new babysitter that the girls love, and a couple top-shelf drinks.

  2. Hurray for grown up time! Love the pic of you two, your top looks really pretty (from what I can see of it – love that shiny blue color!). Glad to hear you had a good time and the girls liked their new babysitter.

  4. Dearest and I are the same way, too! I take what pictures I can get.

The worst part is that usually I forget my camera and have to wait on someone else to email me pictures or upload them to Facebook!

    Too cute, guys! XOXO

    1. Surprisingly, I remembered my camera..I just almost forgot to use it. This was waiting for our car to be brought around as we were leaving.

  5. It is sooooo hard to find a good babysitter these days. I hope yours doesn’t charge as much as my niece charges…$10 an hour!

You two make such an adorable couple! And you are glowing there…so must be love. 🙂

  6. Yeah to nights out! Looks like you had a fabulous time!

  7. Well, shoot. Aren’t you two cute. Don’t look the least bit top shelfed to me! Of course when I indulge similarly I wind up dancing on the bar, so yeah, looks different from that!

    1. HAHA!

The “top shelfing” was only available for the apps and the museum..not for the symphony, so the bar dancing wore off by the time the picture was snapped.

Trust me, the margarita I had (that the guy poured about 3 shots into) was definitely top shelf, bar dancing material…if only there was a bar.

  8. The Dali exhibit is wonderful, it’s around until the first week of January. The ‘melting clock’ painting is named “Persistence of Memory”. Everyone should go to the High!

  9. Nice. Alex and I have been out for a ritzy party in ages. Cute photo!
