An end of year celebration with Innovasian

THIS POST MAY CONTAIN AFFILIATE LINKS. I MAY EARN FROM QUALIFYING PURCHASES.

Our neighborhood always does something fun at the end of the school year/beginning of the summer to mark the pool opening and kids being done with school.

Usually we grill out and have a potluck dinner of sorts.

This year, it was extra nice because the people at Innovasian offered to provide a food truck and dinner for all of us to taste and enjoy. Everybody was pretty excited when the food truck showed up!

They lined up very quickly to get a taste of the three things that the food truck was serving, Chicken Fried Rice, General Tso’s Chicken Breast and Sweet & Sour Chicken Breast.

They served both of the chicken flavors on top of the fried rice. The sweet and sour chicken was the favorite among the kids. It was very mild.

The general tso’s chicken had a bit of a peppery kick to it. The flavor was more robust and thus, the adults and older kids enjoyed it over the sweet and sour.

In addition to these flavors, they also offer several other items available locally at Publix, Bi-Lo and Walmart in the freezer section. We picked up some of the orange chicken breast and it was also a hit! The middle daughter said it was a little spicier, but I didn’t think it was spicy at all. The meals come in boxes that are “family-sized”, and are just the main entree or a side item per box.

They all have 0g trans fat and no MSG (this is huge for me, MSG gives me a headache).

The food was a hit and a great way to start off the summer. It was the most action our neighborhood pool has seen in quite some time.

About the company:

InnovAsian Cuisine® Enterprises evolved in response to an existent void in the Supermarket away-from-home meal category for scratch ready, restaurant quality Asian meals. Supermarket Operators were responding to emerging consumer trends to resolve meal solution issues in light of scarcity of time and family demands. Consumers acquiesced to pay for high quality in return for delivered value. Prepared foods offerings begin to proliferate and menus were requiring greater breadth beyond comfort foods. Asian Foods were one of the first portable foods introduced to consigners in the early 20th century, and over the years it became the ubiquitous “carry out” preference. Reducing the complexity of Asian Foods to simple, scratch ready, convenient to prepare, became the hallmark of InnovAsian Cuisine’s successful product strategy.

The food truck was provided to our neighborhood to facilitate the review. All thoughts are my own.
