If you haven’t seen Inside Out yet, November 3rd is your chance. I wouldn’t even tell you to rent/borrow it. You should definitely own it. Inside Out is definitely one of the best if not the best Disney-Pixar movies I’ve seen.
When I got to see a sneak peak at the Disney Social Media Moms Celebration and then got to see the full movie a couple months later, I couldn’t believe how spot on it really is.
Do you ever look at someone and wonder what’s going on inside their head? Disney-Pixar’s “Inside Out” takes an exciting and hilarious journey into the mind to find the answer. Based in Headquarters, the control center of 11-year-old Riley’s mind, five emotions are hard at work, led by lighthearted optimist Joy. She strives to make sure Riley stays happy as she operates alongside fellow emotions Fear, Anger, Disgust and Sadness.
In addition to the movie, the Blu-ray 3D™, Blu-ray™ Combo Pack features a ton of bonus features like Riley’s First Date: Riley, now 12, is hanging out at home with her parents in San Francisco when potential trouble comes knocking: a boy shows up at the door. Can Mom’s and Dad’s emotions handle “Riley’s First Date?”
I’m glad that Riley and her parents are going through this first. I’m so not ready for anything like this to happen in my girls’ lives!
In also has the amazing, lovable and tear-jerker LAVA short at the beginning.
There are a couple other features you will find in the combo pack as well.
- Story of the Story
- Paths to Pixar: The Women of Inside Out
- Mixed Emotions
- Mapping the Mind
- Our Dads, the Filmmakers
- Into the Unknown: The Sound of Inside Out
- The Misunderstood Art of Animation Film Editing
