Irreconcilable Differences?
Dear Firefox,
We were like BFFs. I would tell everybody about my love affair with my hunk of Mozilla burning love.
Notice I sad were and would.
Because now? I’m not so sure. You love to freeze up. For anything. Gmail, blogger, facebook, you name it. Every site I go to tells me “Not responding” and then takes a day and a half to load. It’s surprisingly even worse on my newer laptop.
I don’t understand. Did I do something to hurt you Firefox? Did I make you mad? Are you retaliating against me?
Because I’m so over this. My time is money…and I don’t have a lot of either.
So, for now, Firefox, I’m going to file the separation papers. In the mean time, don’t be surprised if I’m cheating on you with your enemies, Google Chrome, or (shudder) Internet Explorer!

I had to break up with Firefox recently too when it inexplicably deleted all my bookmarks, favorites, cookies – everything. I was none too pleased. Unfortunately I can't download Chrome for the Mac yet so for now I'm using a browser called Camino – it's ok but I'd rather use Chrome when it comes out for the Mac.
I'm having firefox issues too…I have might to try out chrome.
I haven't had any issues with firefox myself, but thought I'd share my other favorite browser (which is technically I believe a sister to Firefox, but for us blogger types). You may already have heard of it, but here it is anyway. Flock. http://www.flock.com/

been having issues on and off with FF myself on my mac. I'm contemplating chrome. Let me know how it is.
Ha ha! I hate when computers have issues I can't figure out. Hope it gets better.
Firefox is becoming my not so best friend either. Its beginning to be the ugly stepchild like IE. I will have to try chrome out I guess. I just wish blogger and IE would get along so it would make our lives easier. THings I create look great in FF but like crap in IE because of spacing or something.
IE and I have been lovers from the start. IE was my first…and will continue to be my only.
Might have something to do with 47603497 high school freshmen using firefox at the same time I do at work, but IE and are are BFFTLFs…
Several people told me to switch to Firefox, and now I'm so glad I didn't. Computer problems will make anyone crazy.

I'm not having this issue with Firefox BUT that's because I took off the new upgrade they just did and went back to what I was using. I think it was 3.51 or something that they just added. I'm still a version of 3 but not the newest one.
You know it's bad when you're ready to hit up IE again!
I have been having similar issues. Pictures are not loading on blogs, its gets stuck, takes forever and I am on a brand new MAC…ugh.

I have IE and sometimes that likes to mess up.
I have been having the same problem!!! But I hate chrome….let me know if you like it. Maybe I just need to know the tricks to get use to it.
You mean I'm not the only one having problems with Firefox? I thought it was just my computer. Let me know how you find Chrome…I may have to look into trying it.

While trying to write a comment, Firefox froze up on me. My Firefox has been so unreliable lately but I thought it was my laptop's fault, not FF's. Perhaps I'll have to follow suit and try out another search engine. *sigh* I so loved using Mozilla…
I am just glad to be back online and will take IE as long as it works. LOL I am not trying anything NEW ever again after the crash of my old computer..LOL

IE has been acting the same way for us lately.
I feel the same way. Firefox is like that awesome guy you start dating, brag about to anyone who'll listen…and then ends up being too good to be true. I'm going to have to check out Chrome.
interesting because I use firefox and I've never had a problem. Is there something going on with the actual computer or modem that can mess things up!
I am filing for divorce too!! They must have changed something in the last few weeks. They used to be great, but now I have nothing but problems.
I found your blog via Snarky Belle and just wanted to say that I am having the same problems with Firefox ever since I followed a prompt to update their software recentlly. Very annoying, I might add!
I've been using Safari for now but am hoping Firefox will have a fix for these issues soon.

I broke up with Firefox a long time ago because I left him for Google Chrome. Chrome really knows how to please me 🙂

I always had problems with Firefox. Now I use IE with the PC and Safari with my mac. Love them both.
