The after school hunger pains cure

The girls get off the bus at 2:22pm. At approximately 2:25pm, they start asking for snacks, raiding the fridge and pantry and scheming to see how they can get the most snacks in their faces in the next 10 minutes. You wouldn’t know that they both have lunch and a snack within the 6.5 hours they are gone.

They are hungry. NOW!

They want all the snacks!

Jif To Go Dippers

I participated in an Influencer Activation Program on behalf of Influence-Central for Jif To Go Dippers. I received a sample to facilitate my review and a thank you item for participating.

The girls love pretzels, they love peanut butter and they love chocolate, so I thought the Jif To Go Dippers Creamy Peanut Butter / Chocolate Silk with Pretzels. They were so excited by them and ripped into the containers. I just knew they would be perfect for AWANA days because they end up needing a snack before they go and then we eat a much later dinner. They are just the right size to bring along in the car and fit in the cup holder, reducing the mess.

However, they decided that they weren’t “the biggest fans” of the Creamy Peanut Butter or the Chocolate Silk (which has a peanut butter base) with their pretzels. They just wanted the little individual snack cups of pretzels. But, it worked out perfectly for us. The girls got to eat the pretzels in their handy little cups as snacks. And, I got to eat the delicious chocolate silk on my apples. (Seriously, it’s so yummy. I can’t figure out why they don’t care for it, but it doesn’t matter, because I get to eat it all!)

My favorite is the chocolate silk. It’s super, super creamy (okay, silky) peanut butter with a chocolaty flavor.

I happened to notice at the store when I was scooping these kits up, that you can just buy the containers of peanut butter or chocolate silk. So, I think I’ll scoop some of those up for my “after school” snack cravings, too!

Which flavor do you think you would like better?

We haven’t tired these yet, but they look good and it’s great they are easy for on the go snacks. I would try the Chocolate Silk with Pretzels first.
