Our kitchen is sooo tiny. It’s borderline laughable. We only have one really full-sized drawer, two micro drawers and one mini. So, imagine the lack of countertop space we have, coupled with the lack of storage space, and you’ll find that everything in our kitchen needs to be small.

It’s a little bigger than college, but reminds me of how much stuff I had to cram in such a tiny place. Which is why the Keurig MINI plus works great in our kitchen. (My sister-in-law also has one and is very happy with it, too).

The Perfect Gift For Graduates | Keurig MINI plus | Personal Brewer

When I wanted a coffee (well, a fancy coffee) or even a cup of tea or hot chocolate, I had to go to the student center to get one, which meant I was going to spend several dollars on it. Plus, it would probably break whatever study roll I was on. Of course, I don’t even think Keurigs were a thing when I was in college, but if they were, I’d be super excited to get the MINI plus as a graduation gift. It would have saved me a ton of money and a lot of wasted time, too.

Keurig Mini Plus Review

It would have been perfect sitting right on top of my microfridge taking up very little space. And, it comes in 10 different colors: Platinum, Midnight Black, Cobalt, Banana, Red, White, Flash Green, Purple, Orange, and Tea so you can have your own personal style showing through. As are most Keurigs, it is compatible with over 200 K-Cup® varieties to choose from, including iced beverages,

The water in the reservoir (that you add for each drink, so no water sitting around in there) heats and brews in only 2 minutes. And, really, it takes no time at all. I fill it up, put in the K-cup, close it, put a cup under it, hit brew, and in no time, the drink is ready.

I was worried about the temperature of the drink. Would it be too hot? Too cold? Or just right? When I brew my tea with an electric kettle, it has to sit out for at least 10 minutes so I don’t burn my mouth. With the Keurig MINI plus, it was maybe a minute or two. Mr. Serious can drink the coffee right after it finishes brewing.

It will brew all of the water in the reservoir, so you can chose from 3 different cup sizes: 6, 8, 10 oz. I tend to like my drinks not as strong, so I often do the full 10 ounces, even when 8 is recommended. It also comes with a bonus variety of K-Cup® packs so you can find your favorite flavors.

Keurig Mini Plus Review

Mr. Serious really like the donut shop ones. I like the Celestial Seasonings herbal teas. It’s nice that we can have one thing to make drinks for both of us (notice however, we still haven’t taken the coffee pot out for big batches or the electric kettle..it’s a process.).

You can even do the Brew Over Ice beverages with the MINI. However, I did have a hard time fitting a glass with enough ice under the spout. So I just brewed into a coffee cup, then poured over ice. The girls liked the vitamin burst lemonade.

Keurig Mini Plus Review

I found many colors of the Keurig MINI plus available at Amazon, as well as several colors are available online at Keurig and many other colors are exclusively available at Kohls.com.

We’ve been very satisfied with the MINI. It makes a nice addition to our tiny kitchen and I think it would be a very nice going to college gift for a teen. Now, if we can find some great deals on K-cups!

Where do you find the best deals on K-cups?
