Girls Night Out | “Practically Perfect”

THIS POST MAY CONTAIN AFFILIATE LINKS. I MAY EARN FROM QUALIFYING PURCHASES.

It’s been a while since I saw a really good, all strong characters musical at the Fox. But, Mary Poppins? Right up there with Wicked.

Mary Poppins

{There was a little girl next to us that was totally nailing her pose. We asked for tips and she just looked at us funny!}

The singing was spot on (or “spit spot”) and all of the characters really nailed their parts. Of course, it was a little different than the movie, but that left me not knowing exactly what was going to come next. There were some fun effects, too. For example, “Bert” walking up the stage wall and onto the ceiling and Mary Poppins traveling in and out of via the “winds.”

If you get a chance to see it, or it comes to town, make sure you get tickets to see it. It’s fabulous. And, if there is a matinee, or your kids do well staying up late, they would really enjoy it, too!

*I received tickets to the show. All thoughts are my own. If I don’t like it, you don’t hear about it:)

    I totally agree with everything Krystyn said. I don’t really remember liking the movie, but the play was fabulous! Even the two kids, who were in almost every scene, did a wonderful job. I highly recommend it!
