Just a park stop | Mommy and Me Monday | 342nd ed

With the past couple weeks…actually months of crazy and busy, there were no plans made for the holiday weekend. Which seemed to be a good idea.

Saturday, we went to the Y and worked really hard for an hour and a half. Then we came home, got all cleaned up and went out to lunch. We aren’t really sure what happened, but lunch turned out be pretty crazy. There was a lot of energy still there. 

We figured after lunch we’d head to the square to play in the play area and let the kids stretch out their legs. But, we failed to remember it was a holiday weekend and both the farmer’s market and an art show were happening. Which meant no parking.

On the way home, I remembered a play area and park we had visited before with a ton of space and great play structures. We decided to give it a whirl. It was perfect.

There was screaming coming down slides, helpful sisters, tag playing, ladder climbing and more. 

B even wanted to play on the bee with me. I was happy to oblige.

We also rode on a fun swing where I had a seat swinging and she was attached. We both got to swing and chat with each other. There were a lot of “weeeees” involved. 

Everybody was there, but mostly they were running and chasing and basically blurs, so I didn’t get them all.

I did get E and Mr. Serious going for a ride on the bee. He lucked out that the back seat on the bee was big enough for an adult. Because the one on the grasshopper wasn’t really made for an adult booty. At. All!

Hopefully the slightly cooler and more manageable weather will stick around and we have more park visits in our future.
