Mommy and Me Monday- The 22nd Edition

It’s time again for Mommy and Me Monday. Pop out from behind that camera and capture yourself in action with your kids.  Check out the inaugural Mommy and Me Monday for more information.

While we were in Houston, we spent some time at Katy Mills Mall.  We wanted to get out of the house, but avoid the heat.  (Because, oh my goodness, it is so hot there…how quickly we forget.)

Since we were on vacation, and had budgeted for entertainment, we took the opportunity to do some things that we wouldn’t normally do.

The girls and I took a ride around the mall in a little electric train.  We were the only passengers and the girls took great joy in saying “hi” to every person we passed.  There were also a couple “choo-choos” from one little passenger.

We also let the girls go for a ride on the carousel.  I think it’s quite obvious that one of the two had a good time, but they actually both had a great time.

And, I had a great time with my feet firmly planted on the ground.  Mr. Serious and Aunt Emily took the girls while I took pictures like a paparazzi.  Spinning and I do not get a long at all.  After all, I can’t even ride on a swing.

*Thanks to Aunt Emily for being prepared and bringing her camera.  I can’t believe I didn’t grab mine.

What a fun mall. I wish we had a train in our local mall. Austin and I would be there everyday and I wouldn’t have to drive 25 miles to take him to Knotts to ride the train.
I love the pictures as always. Have a great week. Hugs, Lura

  20. Yay for Mommy and Me Mondays! I love getting to watch you with the girls!

How fun does the train look, and I’m pretty impressed with how big the mall must be to fit a train in it! Yay for not having to spin either. As much as I would love to hit Cedar Point pretty sure I can’t do it anymore. Ugh.

    Happy Week friend!
