Mommy and Me Monday- The 44th edition- Live Nativity Scene

It’s time again for Mommy and Me Monday. Pop out from behind that camera and capture yourself in action with your kids.  Check out the inaugural Mommy and Me Monday for more information.

Saturday we headed to our church’s first annual live #2ivity Scene.  We were hoping for camels, but no luck (which is probably for the best; I hear they spit).

They did have a llama, sheep, goats, donkeys, a chicken, a duck and the biggest rabbit I’ve ever seen.

The girls were skittish at first, but finally decided it would be fun to pet the animals.  Look at that smile right after petting the donkey.

Including feeding the sheep and goat.

And, just watching, too.

Side note: I’m quite certain those are some of the cutest, most kissable lips I’ve ever laid my eyes on!  And, those lashes, where oh where did she get those long, curly lashes?

The girls were quite upset when it was time to go.  Including some crying and even car seat thrashing.  All in good fun.

And, you guys that live where it snows all winter.  I’m not sure how you do it.  Notice, there is no snow on the ground, and we are wearing full jackets, hats and mittens, too.  We even had a two hour delay of school this week (due to ice, not snow).

Wishing you all a very Merry Christmas (or any other Holiday you celebrate).  I bet you’ll all have great photos next week to share!

  2. Living in Illinois all my life, I enjoy the snow we get, even though it has been less and less each year. Why does it seem that all I did when I was younger was go sledding in the winter? We only had two days of school this week. Snow days Monday, Thursday, and Friday. This four-day weekend was much needed!

  3. They look like they had a blast! Oh and trying to keep an infant warm when it was -5 degrees last week was NOT fun! Poor girl was so bundled she couldn’t move! I am quite envious of people in the south who don’t have to deal with boots and gloves and hats and scarves and extra layers on a daily basis!

  4. Baby girls are really the cutest I agree 🙂 I cannot help kiss my baby girl all the time especially her lips 🙂

  9. Oh those lashes and those lips! So darling! That really is a good shot of her lashes.
I don’t know how many layers I’d put my girls in if we lived in a snowy place…I think we have on 4 lately? And I haven’t even busted out their puffy jackets yet.

Have a great week before Christmas!
