Mommy and Me Monday- The 45th Edition- Our Christmas Preparations

THIS POST MAY CONTAIN AFFILIATE LINKS. I MAY EARN FROM QUALIFYING PURCHASES.

It’s time again for Mommy and Me Monday. Pop out from behind that camera and capture yourself in action with your kids.  Check out the inaugural Mommy and Me Monday for more information.

I hope you all had a very Merry Christmas (or other holiday you celebrate; or just a good weekend).

This past week involved a ton of baking.  Probably more baking this week than the entire year combined!  I blame that terrible little hand-mixer from college that can’t handle cookie dough (the butter and sugar is okay, but once the flour goes in, it’s all downhill), but Kitchen Aide has yet to call!

Back to the preparations.  We started out making Snickerdoodles for Santa.  Unfortunately, I didn’t  make enough after giving them to teachers (and us eating a couple).  Round two was peanut butter cookies.  The girls wanted to help.  Aren’t they good helpers?

And, no, not staged at all.  They both wanted to help with the mixer, and next thing I knew, there was Mr. Serious snapping away, bed head, glasses and all.

The final baking piece was the birthday cake for Jesus.  I only had one helper for that!

Now, my crappy, no low speed hand mixer will now take it’s vacation and hibernate until next Christmas.

Mommy and Me Monday at Really, Are You Serious?

**There really is only one requirement here, a picture of you and your baby or babies; your children, your “baby” (ie significant other) or even your fur babies.  If your picture doesn’t feature you (meaning you must be in the picture), I will have to delete your link.  It’s not fair to the others that follow the rules.**

  11. I baked 7 different kinds of cookies, plus fudge. I don’t know what I would do without my KitchenAid. I use is SO much and it is such a good investment. I’ve had it for at least 8 years, but it still looks and works like new.
If you can come up with the cash… it is SOOOO worth the money!
