It’s time again for Mommy and Me Monday. Pop out from behind that camera and capture yourself in action with your kids.  Check out the inaugural Mommy and Me Monday for more information. Need another reason to participate in Mommy and Me Monday? With the kiddos home and daddy back to work this week, it has flown! And the older two are definitely getting annoyed by each other (the level of the squeal in their voice lets me know just how much). But we did manage to get out for a bit.

We hit up the children’s museum (after the youngest two and I went to the museum, the oldest was begging to go!) As a bonus to me, E took a little nap and the older two actually played nicely together.

Can you see all of us? They were playing on the stage in the dress up clothes and I spied on them in the mirror and got a picture of us…E is asleep on my chest in the carrier.

They even shared responsibilities milking the cow (or ironically as N called it, “pumping the cow!”) I didn’t even know what to say to that…except laugh hilariously.

There was a little time for farming, too.

And a little team work on the crane. I just love watching them work together. Especially without yelling, screaming or barking orders at each other. I know the moms of multiple kiddos are nodding their heads right now. And those of you that only have one? Nope, they never fight or get at each other…ever:)

It was nice to have an outing. And, I didn’t crash the van into a pole. However, I totally forgot how ridiculous the parking is downtown. Three hours later and I spent $13 for our van to sit in an open parking lot! Yikes (But apparently, if I would have stayed until after 3pm, it would have been $4 only. I don’t understand this math at all!)

  5. It looks like you girls had a lot of fun! Glad to see they fixed the cow. I love that little N referred to it as “pumping.” You’re doing something right, mama! 🙂

  7. It took me a minute to find you – for some reason I thought I was looking for a reflection. I need to go to bed now.

Anyway, glad you girls had fun!

    1. It is a reflection:) The girls are in front of a giant mirror. You can’t see their reflections too well, but it looks like I’m between them, standing up near the orange bucket/seat.

  8. Such a clever way to get a picture of all of you!
One time when Tommy saw a picture of me breastfeeding a baby Joey he said, “Is that when Joey was milking you?” HAHAHA!!! I often felt like my name could have been Bessie while breastfeeding. 😉

    1. Awww…thanks:)

That’s hilarious. They sure say funny things, don’t they? For a while I wasn’t eating dairy (and still don’t do much) and the girls stop me every time to remind me that E doesn’t like it when I have milk or cheese!

  9. How adorable they all look, and what a great time you all look like you had.
I totally get the thing about them playing nicely together, my boys were so much better when we were out somewhere than when they were home getting on each others nerves. It makes for such a nice outing and other mothers look at you like you are amazing. HaHa
I can’t believe how big the girls are getting. I love their hair, too, the curls and the color is just gorgeous.
Thanks for sharing your special day with us.

    1. If I had to pick between getting along at home or out and about, I’d definitely pick out…but sure would be nice to get a break at home!
