Friday nights used to be the night in our house growing up. We always knew that TGIF was coming on and there would be a couple shows we would get to watch together as a family. We knew we were going to learn a lesson or two and when the family lesson music was coming.
I’m not sure if there was a family favorite, but Full House was definitely high up on the list. And if I recall, it was one of the constants amongst other shows that were always coming and going.
I’m so excited to hear that Netflix is bringing most of the cast back with a brand new show, Fuller House that debuts on February 26th.
In the spinoff series, Fuller House, the adventures that began in 1987 on Full House continue, with veterinarian D.J. Tanner-Fuller (Candace Cameron-Bure) recently widowed and living in San Francisco. D.J.’s younger sister/aspiring musician Stephanie Tanner (Jodie Sweetin) and D.J.’s lifelong best friend/fellow single mother Kimmy Gibbler (Andrea Barber), along with Kimmy’s feisty teenage daughter Ramona, all move in to help take care of D.J.’s three boys — the rebellious 12-year-old Jackson, neurotic 7-year-old Max and her newborn baby, Tommy Jr.
I’m excited to see what the family is up to and where the new stories take us. I’m certain it will be a big hit with the whole family and we can incorporate it into our Friday night family time.
Will you turn into Fuller House? Are you excited it’s coming next month?
