It’s time again for Mommy and Me Monday. Pop out from behind that camera and capture yourself in action with your kids. Check out the inaugural Mommy and Me Monday for more information. Tuesday afternoon, the fever started. She woke up really hot from her nap. An unusually long one. Wednesday, more fever. Thursday, she seemed to be on the mend, except the boogers. So I took her to mom’s morning out. She made it 40 minutes before I got a call to pick her up.
Friday she was a lot worse. Higher fever (like 102.4) and absolutely miserable. She wanted to be held or snuggled all day. So in between drop offs and bus stops and picks ups, this is pretty much all we did all day long.
I knew she wasn’t feeling good when her breathing changed and her body relaxed. I checked on my phone. Sure enough, she was out. I don’t even remember the last time this happened.
There was a total of three naps on me on Friday and one nap in her crib. Safe to say she wasn’t feeling well at all. I didn’t do much of anything Friday except sit with her. Fortunately, her sisters were great little helpers and did a lot of other little things so I could stay with her.
Saturday, was more of the same. She wasn’t quite as warm, but still very miserable and feeling yucky. She wanted and needed mommy. And I was glad to be there for her.
Finally, Sunday after her nap, I saw smiles. Smiles I hadn’t seen in several days. No more fever, but still a lot of snot.
I’m glad that everybody at our house was able to help out and keep things moving so that E could fight her bug and get on the mend. Fingers and toes crossed that it doesn’t hit anybody else.
**There really is only one requirement here, a picture of you and your baby or babies; your children, your “baby” (ie significant other) or even your fur babies. If your picture doesn’t feature you (meaning you must be in the picture), I will have to delete your link. It’s not fair to the others that follow the rules.**
I try to make sure and visit all of you and leave some comment love. Please spread the love! And, I never mind the comments, either:)
